It's complicated. I know he lied for Nemu's sake, but the fact that he got agitated is throwing me off. Wouldn't it be easier to admit you could have handled the situation better? Instead, Maya gets defensive. It's like Nemu is making him confront his guilt. Deep down Maya knows he's being selfish by working with Ruka. Ruka causes nothing but trouble and almost broke them up. What is the point in going to meet him time and time again?
cause Ruka’s gigs pay him good money; remember Maya was disowned by his father for being with Nemu. Maya has to pay bills and shoulder his tuition fees alone now so I get the meeting with Ruka part. for the job. what i don’t get was the defensive stance and trying to lie his way out when confronted part. it irks me.
I know, but is that something he's willing to sacrifice his relationship over? This is why it's complicated. I understand his situation, and it would be just as selfish to ask him to get a new job, but his relationship is suffering. Lying isn't going to make it any better....l0l I feel frustrated just thinking at this. The easiest solution is to get rid of Ruka, even if it puts Maya in a bind.....or Nemu and Maya could take a break. Maya needs to figure out his priorities.
maya’s priorities are damn straight, he likes nemu and wants to keep being with him that’s why he needs ruka’s gigs. i do think they need to take a break but that’ll damage maya (remember when he said that he was only able to do all these things like studying and working srsly because of nemu) and i don’t want that. what they need is a serious talk (which they already had and tbh that should’ve solved nemu’s insecurities like HE said before) to figure this shit out. Maya isn’t going to cheat. He is slightly abusive yes, but he is loyal. I wish Nemu would stop being insecure like he said he would. I wish we’re over this cliche drama plotline already tbvh.
The thing is getting over your insecurities is easier said than done. Truth be told, Maya might not be able to have both Nemu and Ruka's help. Ruka is putting a strain on their relationship and obviously it's taking a toll on both Nemu and Maya as well. It's better to figure out what's more important: his finicial issues or Nemu. Honestly, it's healthier if they take a break. Nemu will get a chance to reflect on his insecurities and build up his confidence. Maya will have a chance to get himself into a better place, where he's fincially happy etc. They'll both do some maturing.
Yea, this was a hard chapter to read-which is a first. The whole choking scene was brutal. I thought the teacher held a grudge at first and was killing him! The promise of further character development and the tension between the characters is grabbing though. It even borders the psychological genre a bit. There's just so many ways this can go. So much uncertainty. I finally found a character I genuinely detest!
See? I remeber why I was so done with this couple before. How many times have they been on again then off again then on again? I don't know how Kagami does it. This is like the third time Shingo tried to dump him! Now he's going to turn into a cat and probably jump out the window, disappearing for the next couple of days before Kagami leaves....ugh here we go again. I swear only Kagami can tolerate crap like this.
Plenty of paid parental leave? Let me find out they have better employee benefits l0l
