The pain will be severe-ish for 2 to 3 days and will start numbing down till u reach a week and u wont feel anything
Honestly idek abt foods bc i didnt change much I ate gum nd sticky stuff all the time but I do suggest being careful abt it lolz
Dont worry abt damaging the braces while brushing ur teeth just focus on getting every corner of ur teet......
