guys i thought this story was pretty straight forward. first season starts. she feels inclined to save the prince because the curse put on her so that’s why she inserts herself into his life. essentially possessed by someone else’s will. ML has had a crush on her since they were children so that’s where his emotions stem from mainly bc intuitively he could feel it was her. he played along though. although she was being controlled by the curse, she also developed emotions for him in the process. because she sacrificed herself for him with the arrow, she no longer has the fate of being a sacrifice. however, fate is just being tricked right now, like a loophole. the curse on the empire still exists. with that in mind, her being with the ML makes the loophole a lot more likely to be recognized by fate because in Gold’s words “fate hears all”. so being with the prince is still complicated because it risks fate recognizing that there’s a hole and then bam, issues again. gold told her that the answers she seeks in order to fix all this shit is in her home town.
so. things move forward, she’s back in the town she grew up in. right now she’s pretty much going through a plot line that’s going to lead her to finding the answers. the author has just made the world really complex but that’s what it’s all leading towards.
ghosts are no longer a key part of the plot bc the whole point was to connect things back to the ranon (??) and gold’s relationship. the author will probably bring the ghosts concept back once she’s in the royal castle again
forgot to add but she’s back to her original identity by the end of season 1 so her behavior and appearance has changed to fit a noble woman rather than a peasant. societal expectations and no longer living on edge of possible chaotic situation or death
guys i was expecting to open the new chapters and think it’s hideous but you guys are so damn dramatic the art looks great, just not on the same level as before and that’s fine. at least it’s not like the switch up we got for adonis
Exactly lol, the new artist is clearly trying to maintain the quality. Its just some difference in face structure and stuff but i think they are doing great!
I droped Adonis because of the art T.T This one is just a little different. I read through the chapters again... the first ones were really amazingly drawn and then after a few chapters the drawing style actually looks like it does now.
