Don’t know if this will help but a good translator site would be yandex and a good site for checking French vocab would be reverso conjugation. Starter sentences could be anything like “Comment est la météo?”
ou “Comment vas-tu?” ou “Salut , je m'appelle ______.” Hope this helps. :) reply
