Niro was already strong but there will always be something wrong whenever the group changes like he has an on & off switch and now he’s suddenly can’t control his mana somehow without explanation. The ships that are unnecessarily forced here and there without even proper development or chemistry. The discrimination that somewhat ‘reset’ Niro’s mentality and everyone’s memory about his accomplishment so far. That quick transition of years plus the intensity of the ‘training’ was so random like there’s no actual plan how it goes. And even the disclosure of ‘important characters’ was so obvious and for some reason the other sides just there to betray him or just to say he’s a slave over and over again. I’m at loss.
