Damn dropping that big responsibility on an 11 year old child?? I know it's a test but that's a life, criminal or not, on her too young hands???

    Amuseing4me July 8, 2021 1:40 am

She has been a horrible mother from the start ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍ I'll turn it around on you, did you actually had expectations of her??

    DarkeAOU July 8, 2021 2:14 am

Yeah, bring that up with the Queen's parents. It's a tradition. Every single future Queen has to face this test. That's why Pryde allowed Tiara to watch it, because it's something the future Queen NEEDS to learn. Since the Queen is the one who passes judgement on every serious crime in the kingdom.

I don't think every single future queen handled someone's life while they're still a child.

yeah typically you build them up like all other children. give them 1 responsibility then 2 them a bigger/more ect. Yeah if they are royalty then it will end up being really big eventually but doing it all at once like this will only traumatize. I fail to she how traumatizeing a child will made them a strong and stable leader in the future.

They did. The novel shows the Queen's POV of this scene, and she remembers having been tested the same way. Maybe not judging a terrorist, but yes, people who would normally face death sentences.

It's necessary for the reigning monarch to be able to execute as necessary, and in this setting, monarchs are often elected before they turn 20. (The Queen herself was somewhere between 16 and 18 when she became Queen, and she needed to face this test BEFORE she was crowned.)

You can drag the Queen all you like, but everything Pryde goes through as a child, she went through first. If anything is cruel here, it's the tradition that says THIS is necessary.

Our mc's just 11 years old. She's not even seen as a probable queen until a while and she suddenly has a life on her shoulder as her FIRST test. I don't even have to read the novel to know that they do not have the same circumstances and it's in no way reasonable for an 11 yo child, who was just acknowledged by her mother and queen, be responsible for a life. It will be so different if she didn't have a knowledge of her adult self and still JUST an 11 year old.

I'm not even dragging the queen, I said that I know and understand that it's a test but the hurdle made was too high and inappropriate for her age. What if she made the wrong judgement? It will be her responsibility. "She's not fit to be a queen" is a high risk as the story actually force the characters to act as they should. No queen "went through first" and "same" in a world where she's created as a villain.

yes and if they really must go big: guiding them, instead of passing the whole responsibility, is much more ideal. It could go wrong in so many ways if she didn't retain her adult knowledge and just a child inside in that situation.

You seem to miss the fact that Pryde judged the criminal in front of the Queen, the Prince Consort, the Prince Regent AND the Prime Minister. Pryde had to listen to a list of his crimes and recite the proper punishments for this level of crime, and only AFTER the Queen confirmed that she got ALL the answers right did she tell Pryde to make her judgement. ALL THREE sentences listed were acceptable within the law. Her judgement would have been considered textbook if she hadn't asked Val which judgement he personally wanted.

Is this a lot to dump on a child? Yes. But if she wasn't prepared to take this responsibility, she shouldn't have interfered with the knights' mission. She could have just returned to the palace and let the knights handle it (which, yes, would have resulted in the deaths of everyone there, as in the game). She was just as culpable for the deaths of every single bandit there, both before and after she arrived on site. Even if all she had done was order Stayle to deliver supplies to the front line, it STILL would have been entirely her responsibility.

And NO, the Queen DID experience the same thing. It's literally text. I don't see why you don't want to accept that, except I suppose it makes it easier on you to imagine that SOMEONE in the Royal Family actually had a normal childhood. (In which case, I recommend you look at Pryde's father. Though he was a younger prince from a different country, rather than a crown prince. So less was expected of him.)

I see that we can't see eye to eye. I'll just end this here for both of us. Nonetheless, my point still stand on my part and didn't changed.

But I'll just leave this here: No, the Queen and even the past all Queens were never the same, there are ALWAYS variables different depending on their circumstances. Not normal BUT DIFFERENT.

Anyway, I hope we both enjoy this manga more ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

Man I hope he could pop their flesh like how he do on monster's. I can't take the ridiculousness of another Yurim arc (T▽T)

mikkuwu July 5, 2021 4:53 pm

I think we should take note that while he's being too insistent on having children, he still took the pills and condoms given. The last half was mostly the alpha instinct (they're in heat) and/or breeding kink talking, fully aware that they took the pills and that's probably why they went wild. In the end, thankfully their thoughts connected and hopefully more proper progression to their relationship.

    Miyu July 5, 2021 5:46 pm

Right! But i just knew it the comment section will massive talking about it. Hahh.. i feel like at least you smart enough to put aside the real matter into fiction, you can enjoy whatever the story is.

    Fwishstwick July 7, 2021 8:18 am

THIS!! So many people are attacking others for harmless comments because of the "rape" saying that he's pregnant as if the two of them didnt each say that they took contraception...

I hope they give us some more reason to favor Daniel over the other 3 who gave and can give her more than a company. The filter and the "convenient" alone time ain't working that well.

    agreed

nes likes yaoi June 25, 2021 8:22 pm

THAT WAS EXACTLY MY OPINION WHEN READING THIS- like they push daniel to us without giving enough reasons to like him. and the other love interests have better chemistry the fl also acts like herself when she's with them but with daniel she acts like a whole diffrent person and it's weird to see her like that

If anyone's having a really hard time to see the old man's side, just imagine Ben as a girl.

Regardless of that, parents treat their children, either a daughter or son, the same with anxiety of leaving their child, out of their sight, on good hands. It's instinct to be hesitant when you see a possible danger esp on someone you loved and raised.

    draco June 16, 2021 4:45 am

The old man wasn't wrong at all. Yeah. He is a bit of a prick. His child didn't get hurt, but Stefan could have been run over by the truck.i just hate all of the characters other than the mc till now.
