Basically her sister was married or a consort to the king but she really didn’t want to but she also got pregnant but unfortunately had a miscarriage which caused her depression and it wasn’t until along time till she was made queen and than following that she killed herself and than there father couldn’t handle the pain of losing his daughter so than he killed his self leaving only Ercella and her brother and than after that ercellas husband had to leave for war leaving ercella alone when she needed him the most and he was very neglectful and just a shit husband （￣へ￣）

yeah I think that is the case, to my understanding she unknowledge Vicente because she thought no one cares about her anymore like when she almost trip the maid said that she should be careful because it may harm the baby maybe she want others to think of her well-being before the baby? ... ... this is only my opinion.
I read some comments that said she had post partum depression, and there was no one there for her so she grew to dislike her child.
