He will not pick you lol Besides being greedy to the point of harming other women for your ambition will always be your downfall, you're already rich, powerful and full of resources-- find another venue for your ambition
By chapter 100+ they'll reconcile. She made the practical decision to love him less than he loves her... that's good and all but i kinda wanted her to make him prove his love by actually doing what he says he'll do first and give it time, not just have sex immediately. It feels anti-climactic for me because it took 1-90 chapters for them to have lots of misunderstandings and now we were only given less than 20 chapters for them to just "understand" each other. Like, effort =/= hardship. It felt rushed to me ngl I was hoping they practice communicating first then maybe have friendly banters here and there, then smoothly come to understand each other or atleast have ML grovel alot. Gosh, he's always had it easy mode, it's pathetic.
... the boss deserves some kind of retribution against him. The fact that he is the ML is appalling itself but somehow with the few chapters presented (chap 6 latest as of this comment) he's still getting benefited from the work she's doing. Major ick.
just accept the gifts!! if you don't like a specific gift, accept it still and just tell him what you actually want so he can give it to you next time
I love it! It can be hard to read because of misogyny (they should've put a warning) and it isn't a fluffy manhwa, but I love it still because of how she's dealing with it. We stan a calm pragmatic rich lady. I haven't read the spoilers but if she gets the justice she deserves in her first life then I'm all for it <3
yeah... nah. I probably hate myself for reading up to chapter 16 without any spoilers, i dont even think i could read the spoiler just to bleach a part of my brain remembering this piece of work
just know that before reading this, the author hates the MC since she has abusive parents who never thought of getting therapy to better themselves and their treatment to her (they just REALLY want to get rid of her.) the ML is implied to like the abuse the MC gets just because he wants her solely relying on him, he's fine being the only one treating her right. no one in the castle understands the pov of MC or why she's acting like a spoiled child, like, they automatically think "she's just a brat" or she was born with a bad personality", which makes me think no character here has care for another person aside from themselves or just focusing on their own problem, idk
Basically it implied how Magnus' brothers bullied him and showed the scene where they pushed him off the same cliff they died at. Then also some dialogue between Carl and Illyana about Magnus's physical health improving but his mental state might not be able to recover at a 100% because of the brainwashing. Then before chap 13, Illyana decides to hurt Magnus for him to hate and distrust her enough to want to escape-- she told him that she's sick of him basically and that is why she hasn't been visiting him quite often
It's really refreshing to see shoujo characters actually think and talk about school OFTEN and not just in passing. Love that for them <3
“Ah, I see. Since you don’t love me.” Was that a sadboi line? It gave me ‘ick’ reading it.
We looove an ML that pours into their FL <3 It's great that from the get-go the story tells us immediately the reason why the FL needs to save the ML by giving a glimpse of how he treats the FL. Because it's kinda hard to bond over FLs who seek retribution for their MLs without knowing what and how deep they've loved the FLs.
When she said "I can't wait to see if your daughter will grow into a man as she gets older" was it just a translation error and the "man" part was supposed to be "woman"
And did she mean that she hopes the daughter continue to be as smart and headstrong as she is currently and the fact that the father thought the daughter was "silly" is not something Mildred condones him saying/thinking?
i'm still confused, who's the mom of the bratty brother of the black haired dude? and the narrator said that he didn't love hi first wife so why did the duke go crazy during the black haired dude's childhood?
I prefer the latter, but did she really say that or did translators did that on purpose? hahaha
Can someone kindly explain what he said and why he said that? Did he mean that he felt regret for his country having a good empress gone and being replaced with another who forges promissory notes
IDK this story is just...
It's commendable that Gabriella is doing all she can to get recognized by her husband as the old Gabby. But still, it just doesn't sit right with me that she's trying SO hard for that. I know it's been such a long time for him to get over old Gabby but that's his pain and trauma to deal with.
Honestly, the story will still be interesting if her focus right now is to get revenge on the people who've killed her in her previous life and the one tormenting her in her current one. Her breaking all restriction points just for her to be recognized by her husband is pretty sad. NGL, it's pathetic to see a woman begging her life to be noticed by her ex.
Another thing, she chose to kill herself, then the moment she comes back she wants to get reunited immediately. Does she not consider her husband's feelings-- I'm sure he would've been ecstatic to know that she was alive but the fact that she's now an entirely different person might be too much for the guy.
