I don't ship Heli and Medea, hear me out. 1)Medea obviously has no romantic feelings or interest at all, towards Heli or to anyone.
2)Their relationship is more like a master and servant friendship, it has a strong bond, they trust each other. I don't really want to see a change in their relationship.
3)There is literally no romantic development or foreshadowing between M and H. e.g Medea blushing to Heli, romantic gestures etc.
Maybe there will be later, but I rather the story not indulge in the romance genre as it will then become another of those same old cliché stories (not saying those are bad cause some are pretty satisfying, but you get the gist)
yeah I don't think they're a thing either. Also since he killed Nanny, whether she asked for it or not, or Medea would have done the same or not, that kind of precludes them getting together, it's always going to stand in the way. In any case there's a strong bond between them, but it's not romantic love.
I'm fine with no romance route, i see that helio will stay onesided and devoted to medea while two female leads will win against the prince and end up happy without getting boyfriends
But i don't agree with diveien, like chapter 42 is all about medea and helio's stronger relationship by destroying the only thing that stand in the way (helio's guilt for killing nanny), medea obviously forgive him while saying that they have a long way to go and helio said he'll moving on, someone must be really missing the entire point of chapter 42 if they think helio killing nanny will still be a problem between medea and helio's relationship, but well if they're so sure then it's their opinion so i can't do anything about it
goodness, no need for the dig at the end, everyone's entitled to their opinion. However I don't mean that she can't forgive him, but even if she's 100% ok with it, it's still going to be there. At least that's how it works for people irl, this being a fiction so they might go that route, I doubt it... but who knows maybe you can marry someone who killed someone you loved even though it was out of necessity... I couldn't.
I don’t know what ‘dig’ means in this context (i don’t speak english), but since you said ‘goodness’ and ‘no need’ i think i did something wrong, so sometimes people here misunderstood that i attack them whenever i have different opinion, that’s the reason why i stated that ‘dig’ first for the sake of politeness and to avoid misunderstanding, but i guess i still did it wrong, i’m sorry.
If it’s about people irl, people like us who never kill anyone in our life will never condone killing (and will really focus on the point where helio killed nanny whom loved by medea, we’ll try to put ourselves in medea’s position and empathize with medea by trying to imagine how we feel if someone kill the one we love), but the thing is our position with medea is already different from the start, medea ever killed in the past, i think she has different perspective from us and more focus on the reason than the murder act itself.
If we want to talk about fiction and how the author treat her story, then let’s talk about psyche’s knight who was killed by medea in chapter 1-2, psyche knew that knight all her life (it’s said that the knight serve house polly since forever), psyche even lost her appetite worrying about that knight, and she finally knew that medea killed him, but after that she never even thought about it once and still put medea over everything, the thing about medea killed that knight is never being mentioned by psyche even once after they switched bodies (medea is the only one who mention it to blackmail her maid, but she talk about it freely like she has no remorse at all), that knight and nanny is probably not comparable, but seeing it realistically by considering how psyche never kill anyone (so she’s not someone who can empathize with murder) and mostly about how psyche lost her appetite worrying about that knight (means that knight is important enough for her), the murder of this knight should be treated as something a bit more serious than totally push it aside like that, but that’s just how the author treat her story, so i think it’s safe to say that helio and medea already get their closure and have a total fresh start.
