Okay so did the Senpai love Kouhei or wat
He was overly negative about finding requited love and then when he said something about Eventhough Tomoya knows his wish won't come true he still wants to stay by his side 'How admirable' (bittersweet), an image of him and Kouhei came up and it was just very clear to me and MIND BLOWING cuz wow I absolutely love that plot twist. Um but then nothing happened and Senpai is forgotten and never explained.
That makes my heart hurt tho
I do think Laurent was being selfish...but I feel like that was the whole point.
He had been restraint and living quietly beside the man he loved (for logical reasons ie: imbedded societal expectations) while Arthur had acted selfishly the whole time (saying he loves him occasionally but then dissing his flowers and raping him once)
So when Carel specifically told Arthur that he was willing to sacrifice things for Laurent and that Arthur looked like he wasn't, it meant that it was Arthur's turn to let Laurent be selfish. Thus creating a balanced relationship.
but whatever as long as it gives me the happy ending lmao
I'm genuinely shocked...I've read A LOT of yaoi/shounen-ai and yet this series has actually addressed things from such a new perspective, things that are very real as well. The thoughts the characters have throughout the series are so raw and in depth, maybe the author has been thru some thingss ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
The two mc’s are really weird lmao what was with them staring at eachother sleeping all the time
But it was really new and kind of awesome to get a story from the perspective of the usually secondary cringey lovey dovey couple, because normally the couple would be kinda too cool to make that sort of fuss outside of the Pachinko center
Ngl i'm a little bummed that Aerak didn't tell Heeno about what happened...It was awful and created such huge trauma, Heeno needs to learn and repent for what he did because it just looks like he didn't even change in all those years...
Other than that, this was super wholesome (≧∀≦)
i really really really looking forward for their relationship.. i just skip other chapter to find how their relationship will turn out.. n i really need to see Heeno suddenly said that, actually at the time when he call Aerak as a pig, fat whatever it was.. that he didnt mean it or something like that.. or, actually Heeno know the fat n handsome was the same Aerak n admire him for such a long time.. or something like that.. but, i happy for them.. in the same time, i crying so hard.. erghh.. i know not my story tho but but but i want them to know the truth.. hahahahahhaha (ಥ_ಥ) the reality hit me so hard huh..
Unfortunately, I feel like Heeno wouldn’t necessarily repent and even if he tried it wouldn’t erase what he already did in the past nor likely change how he would view people like that perhaps. Perhaps love would be different yet he also fell in love with Aerak based on looks(and vice versa actually). I really did want to see what would happen if Heeno found out, but it looks like Aerak plans to keep it to himself as he finally gave into his own desires to be with Heeno no matter what. I would have felt better if perhaps it was sorta like that manga where the girl is chubby and everyone knows her that way and treats her well then she loses all that weight and suddenly want her. It was interesting in a way to see how one ended up liking her even when she got chubby again while one liked her for her since the beginning. Something close to that would have felt good, but Heeno just seems too shallow for that
I agree...It's a bit sad to admit when characters who aren't necessarily "villains" have flaws, but just like normal people...it's just how they are ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ I guess it just comes down to whether we believe that people can change or not, movies and manga think people can but in reality I don't think it's that common...
It isn’t common unfortunately like you said. I do believe people can change, but it’s difficult when that person has always been that way. In this situation, Heeno seems to have grown up seeing only the physical value to people and unfortunately Aerak experience with him seems to make him place value on appearances more than before. But yeah it definitely is their flaws and I tbh think it’s not a good combo for them in a relationship as we see that Aerak always holds the past close to him while Heeno has no reflection on his ways. I know I’m getting too deep into it but yeah it be like that with manga sometimes
I think the author hinted with the side chapter, that in the end Heeno would love Aerak no matter what, since when they were old; they were still together and Aerak regained his weight and was still loved just as dearly.
See I took that only as what Aerak wished for or what his desires were since I think what we saw with the “ears and tail” was Heeno’s
