Ashlyn created a topic of The Hounds of Sisyphus

This is why 945 is my favourite author.

Euijoon was a size queen and we loved that for him. Jinwoo is realistic about whether or not a dick that size would even fit. Also that he wasn't immediately rock hard. Like men don't immediately go erect when touched. Some do but some don't. Some don't come immediately when they penetrate and some do.

Do I feel somewhat weird about being excited about a floppy flaccid penis? No. Realism > everything.

I think there's clearly a battle going on inside Guwon. There's Guwon the person who is very naive and likes Jinwoo but he's trapped in this large thing that we and Jinwoo don't understand yet.

I'm not saying it's beauty and the beast(ly cock) but I'm not saying its not.

I can't help thinking about the title. Sisyphus's story doesn't have any hounds. But what do dogs do? They guard. Is Guwon the guard of this town of people who aren't quite right? (Jinwoo's flashes of memory give me pause)

Guwon may even represent Sisyphus himself as he continues to do this one mundane task of keeping the town going. Who knows for how long. Jinwoo might be the thing that starts the clock to the end.

Hmm.

The vibes were off, Guwon never refers to himself in the 3rd person. I think I smell multiple personalities.

I mean Taehyuk is in part rich because of Hyoun so it's really ~their~ money.

Ashlyn created a topic of Payback

Jay isn't that complicated or even weird. He's trying to meet Yoohan in ways that he would understand.

Did you not take my call because you preferred to die? Do I mean nothing to you? If your guilt is so strong to die then I'll tie you to me and you can live that way.

He cares about Yoohan and you don't just get over trauma in a day, a week or a month. Definitely not without help either. If Yoohan can't choose to live for himself then Jay will create a burden he can't avoid.

He's unorthodox for sure but Yoohan isn't playing with a full deck either.

Something being understandable doesn't make it excusable.

I think it's an interesting conundrum because if you fundamentally can't grasp the concept, how can you make a realistic change?

I don't know for sure but my gut tells me Prince Yeong knows something of their past lives.

I binged this all today so I may be treading old ground but his lover who quoted the same book as Huikyeom...has to be past HK.

Ashlyn created a topic of Cry Me a River

Jitae is a full service top and we love to see it. Not to be queer on main but it's nice to see characters actually be queer rather than repackaged heteros where the sum total of sex is sticking it in. Giving your partner pleasure to make them feel good is sexy and powerful.

I might consider waving a white flag over his red ones if he continues to be so wildly into Mieum and a little bit broken sad boy because he genuinely seems like he's trying to be a good person but his whole world is so fucked up.

Ashlyn created a topic of Miracle Illusion

Traumatic brain injuries can affect people's personalities. It's a cop out in terms of story telling as it creates an immediate conflict but like, it's an actual thing that happens to people so let's remember that.

Sex work is...work. Having a partner you love is completely separate to that.

Assuming that all sex workers derive pleasure from work will make it seem like he's having his cake and eat it. But here's the truth, fluffers exist for a reason because sex work is having sex with someone you're not necessarily attracted to for the sake of creating the illusion that you are. It is nowhere near the same as being in a relationship and sleeping with the person you love and are deeply attracted to.

Like, I get it, not everyone is built to handle their partner as a sex worker but it has to be remembered that it is work. They do it to get paid. They sleep with people they would never if they weren't doing sex work. They don't get to choose that but what they do get to choose is who they come home to.

I'm still at when Euihyun called him a seedless watermelon. A savage slay.

Ashlyn created a topic of Dog and Bird

I get the whole Cha dog thing but how does the bird fit in?

Also he's already in love. Guys don't have spit roast threesomes like that, especially not alphas.

Ashlyn created a topic of A Terrible Romance

They're both the problem. They should have broken up instead of trying to force each other to be what the other needs.

Ashlyn created a topic of Romance, But Not Romantic

Feelings look so cute on Hyunjoon.

Author-nim, please give us Woojin/Yitae.

Yitae clearly wants to be special to Woojin so let's go.

Ashlyn created a topic of Stigma (Doo Down)

Both Ian and Noah are at fault for not being clear about their expectations.

Noah wasn't the only person who was violated in this chapter. Ian is at home alone and has no self awareness, no ability to consent. No ability to control his actions. You sleep with a drunk person that's assault. Ian isn't falling down drunk but it's the same principle.

Noah assumed he would be fine because he's a beta but you shouldn't go into someone's space when they're going through something that alters their mind. You just don't.

That's the whole point of the story, at least for me, is that this happened and it happened to both of them. Rather staying to explain, Noah took off. Could you imagine, waking up, clearly having had sex but no idea how or with who?

Neither one of them is "right". They've both done pain and damage and the story is to overcome that.

For anyone who doesn't know, the site has bots that scrape chapters from other places so there isn't anyone uploading over Seph. It's the site's bots.
