The problem is Haesoo doesn't love Taekyung. Despite everything that happened, he loves Jowoon and Taekyung knows it.
Jowoon is growing and learning and, I think this chapter speaks to how he's viewed everything prior to now. He was incredibly childish, trying to keep everything in a bubble, selfishly keeping everything the way he wanted it. He never really understood that two people have to decide how a relationship goes.
And ultimately, this is a fiction where Jowoon can learn and grow and win back the heart of the person he loves because he's changed. Does it validate his previous actions? No. Never. But if we say that people can never change, why would they?
I think as well what's going to be important is that Jowoon isn't going after Haesoo. He's let him go. Haesoo will likely go back to him if that's how it's going to be because regardless of what has gone on. Haesoo has the right to choose who he loves.
I think this story is largely about growing up and learning to own your actions, not just Jowoon, but Haesoo too. Maybe they grow back together, maybe they don't. But they grew which is a lot more we can say for a lot of other stories out there.
Jawook betrayed Gyeom's trust by lying. BDSM is forever based on the principle: safe, sane, consensual. By lying to Gyeom, he altered what he was consenting to. He thought he was engaging in play with someone who wanted what he wanted, only to find out he doesn't like it. He feels exposed. Vulnerable. His partner lied to him. It doesn't matter what they feel. You cannot lie when it comes to BDSM. It's a safety issue both physically and mentally.
Jawook is dealing with trauma so he felt that he could deal with being someone he's not. But he has to understand that this runs deeper than that. You cannot sustain a relationship based on a lie. It was already too much for him and now he understands that what he did was a betrayal. Of Gyeom and himself. How can Gyeom like him if he lies?
Liking someone doesn't absolve you of wrongdoing. He needs to be honest and let Gyeom decide if he wants to trust him again and accept it if he doesn't.
Yahwi asked him why he wanted to have sex and he said 'no reason'. Why does he like him? No reason. What about anything has he said made Yahwi think that Jooin likes anymore than his status or his face?
Tons of people have probably come and gone from Yahwi's life, heck, Jooin didn't even remember the first time they had sex, wanting something from Yahwi and never really seeing him or understanding him. To him, Jooin is someone who wants something from his sunbae. He will learn that Jooin is serious but let's not throw him under the bus just yet.
You don't out people just because you know they're gay. Naruse doesn't see Yanagi the way that he wants him to and Asumi is trying to understand that. He's jealous but really he should let it go because his partner has told him: I'm not interested. He's placing more value on what Yanagi might do than trusting Naruse and that's not okay. More importantly, Asumi gets this.
Even if Yanagi kisses Naruse. That's not Naruse cheating on Asumi. That's Naruse being violated by someone else.
And while going out for drinks wasn't the best idea as it lowers inhibitions. They work together and Naruse can't avoid someone at work just because they're interested in him and he's not interested in them.Yanagi should know enough to keep it in his pants and his hands to himself. Yanagi's feelings are not Naruse's responsibility.
So you're saying that Asumi shouldn't tell Naruse to avoid Yanagi/getting into a dangerous situation Yanagi? I don't understand your logic here lol Asumi is just worried 'cause he knows how defenseless Naruse is-- that is literally how their relationship started so he knows best. Naruse may not have feelings for Yanagi but that doesn't mean he should be getting into situations where something bad could happen. If someone told me that there was a person who could potentially have feelings for me I would avoid being in a 1 on 1 situation with them 'cause even if I feel like I know that person experience tells me that there is always that possibility of something dangerous happening against my will.
Yanagi has already shown us that he has a very keen interest in Naruse and he's already tried to put moves on him while he was drunk AND with other coworkers. What's to stop him now that they are alone and ONCE AGAIN Naruse has let his guard down and drank? If something happens Naruse isn't the only one who is going to get hurt-- Asumi will most definitely feel responsible for not being able to protect him and we are also risking Ichika's well being. It's not as simple as "Asumi getting jealous/over-protective is bad 'cause he knows that Naruse only has feelings for him so therefore he should trust Naruse" it's more "he's trying to protect Naruse 'cause despite his feelings you can't always trust other humans to use their better judgement." Naruse's life is not just his-- and this holds especially for Ichika since Naruse and Asumi are all he has in this world. If something were to happen to either of them it would stay with him for the rest of his life.
My point is that the onus of this situation isn't on either Asumi or Naruse. Yanagi clearly knows that Naruse has someone special in his life and any attempts from him to pursue Naruse are his own actions and he should own up to them. The fact that we has humans still have to police our own behaviour because other humans don't know or care that no means no is disgusting and draining.
Asumi's jealousy (jealousy, not concern), however, isn't based in reality. His lover is in love with him. His concern is that Yanagi will try something and Naruse will what? Leave him? That shows a lack of faith in Naruse's feelings when all he has done up until this point is try to take care of Asumi. If he keeps prioritising the actions of another over Naruse's truthful feelings, it will not go well.
This is funny. Did you remember Yanagi tried to touch him when they were at the drinking party with colleagues just cos he was a little drunk? You think he won’t do the same right now? Mr. Naruse works with him and can’t avoid him but why didn’t he tell him he wants to go make dinner for his child? While we are at it, if Mr. Naruse knows he did nothing wrong, he would at least mention the facf that he is going drinking with Yanagi, right?
It doesn’t hurt to protect yourself sometimes, you know? And he also said Yanagi reminds him of Asumi, which is why he shouldn’t drink so he wouldn’t get drunk and mistake the two. It’s as as that!
Naruse is trying to be a good colleague, a good boyfriend, and a good father (Ichika's sudden independence has to related).
Look I'm not saying that Naruse is being smart here. He sees a young guy that reminds him of Asumi and he wants to help. He feels a bit like if he can help him he could help Asumi, rather than always feeling like a burden. He isn't looking at Yanagi as someone who has feelings for him so why would he bother to avoid him? He doesn't see the situation the same way as Asumi. And even if he did, the point is Yanagi should not come onto someone he CLEARLY understands is with someone else.
He's like I'll end it when he has genuine feelings for me. Why? Because he has genuine feelings for Kangha and you don't bring someone you love into their world, which is backstabbing and dramatics. That's his biggest display of his feelings yet.
Will Kangha fight for their relationship? He is going to have to because he's the one who has to change Kyuho's mind and show him that it's okay to have love and be happy in his world.
How to tell it's a daydream; Seunghyun is at work. Hojun hasn't ever been to or known about Seunghyun's day job.
He wants Hojun to take charge but he has kinda reaped what he's sown because he taught him how to have sex (the mechanics) but not to have confidence in what he's doing and to therefore take charge because he knows what he's doing is good. That more than anything could be their downfall. If you don't have confidence in your relationship you're never going to be feel secure and therefore happy.
Not sure what the ex is fishing for. He can just leave. Unnecessary and unwanted, unless he's the push Hojun needs to find his emotional balls. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Seolhyun has been split down to his very core: his female wolf self, which Seolhyun has been hypnotised to forget so that he wouldn't go mad without Hwa, and his conscious mind that believes he's male.
The black wolf he's talking to is himself. The one who has been twisted up by being cut off from the rest of Seolhyun and only knows basic instincts because it never grew with him. How this ties into his uncle's two females comment from earlier chapters I'm not sure. Unless both his parents were female.
As for the babies, as Seolhyun isn't whole, the babies are whole either. One of them might have the same fracture that is making Seolhyun sick. IDK.
I think there are a couple tiny mistranslations because son should have been grandson in one context, so I think what Yibin is saying, Hwa is my son but he loves Seolhyun, so I'll pretend to care about Seolhyun but if he has to die to protect Hwa, I'm fine with it.
Anyway that's my take. I really love this story and can't wait for it each week.
I think Luan wanted Yul for his company, Jin Entertainment, but after meeting him, he actually developed feelings for Yul.
Yul is going to find out and feel betrayed. One man using him to another, except it's worse because he likes Luan. ☹
