Jay isn't that complicated or even weird. He's trying to meet Yoohan in ways that he would understand.
Did you not take my call because you preferred to die? Do I mean nothing to you? If your guilt is so strong to die then I'll tie you to me and you can live that way.
He cares about Yoohan and you don't just get over trauma in a day, a week or a month. Definitely not without help either. If Yoohan can't choose to live for himself then Jay will create a burden he can't avoid.
He's unorthodox for sure but Yoohan isn't playing with a full deck either.
Something being understandable doesn't make it excusable.
I think it's an interesting conundrum because if you fundamentally can't grasp the concept, how can you make a realistic change?
In seob is (badly) written to be the opposite as seme, he's dumb, too emotional, incapable of self preservation and common sense. He's purposefully like that, written as an annoying doormat, should I add.
They dropped the title because both characters are "willfully negligent" in an attempt to be together.
But I still think the story, with the exception of this chapter is kinda shiet.
Jitae is a full service top and we love to see it. Not to be queer on main but it's nice to see characters actually be queer rather than repackaged heteros where the sum total of sex is sticking it in. Giving your partner pleasure to make them feel good is sexy and powerful.
I might consider waving a white flag over his red ones if he continues to be so wildly into Mieum and a little bit broken sad boy because he genuinely seems like he's trying to be a good person but his whole world is so fucked up.
Sex work is...work. Having a partner you love is completely separate to that.
Assuming that all sex workers derive pleasure from work will make it seem like he's having his cake and eat it. But here's the truth, fluffers exist for a reason because sex work is having sex with someone you're not necessarily attracted to for the sake of creating the illusion that you are. It is nowhere near the same as being in a relationship and sleeping with the person you love and are deeply attracted to.
Like, I get it, not everyone is built to handle their partner as a sex worker but it has to be remembered that it is work. They do it to get paid. They sleep with people they would never if they weren't doing sex work. They don't get to choose that but what they do get to choose is who they come home to.
I mean Taehyuk is in part rich because of Hyoun so it's really ~their~ money.
