ML finds out at chapter 113. AHHHHHHHH ITS TAKING SOOOO LOOONNNNGGGGGG UFEHSEGRDKJ RGHIUDF

The heroine (Lili) is indeed a player. The kicker? Lili is one of the game's developers or beta testers... and is a dude.
That said, there is no romantic tension between Lili and Rahnee. They actually develop a cute sibling relationship where they playfully bully the other! And yes, they do ally rather quickly. Lili did try to screw Rahnee over at first, but the situation turns hilarious very fast. This is one of those rare stories where the transmigrated 'villain' and 'heroine' actually help the other, and I LIVE for it.

Interestingly, it seems Lili, while he's aware that it's all a game, has lost some memories of his real life? Very unsure about this, take it with a grain of salt. But it also appears that Lili is unable to log out of the game as well.
So it appears that the game's relationship with the real world is complicated. Two NPCs in-game managed to teleport briefly to modern-day Korea in their dreams (I think one of them has a magical connection or something) and one of them actually sees the freaking advertisement for the game and is like, 'why are Lili and rahnee's face on this weird paper'. I should note that I call them NPCs because there's no proof of them being 'players' yet, though I won't be surprised if at least one of them did turn out to be an amnesiac one.

It is also revealed that Yona's (or Rahnee as she is in-game) presence in the story is VERY unusual because the Concubine Walkthrough game's release was delayed. Meaning there was no feasible way for her to have gotten into it because it was never released to the public. The issue? There was something wrong with the game's AI. Yeah... On top of that, guess what? Rahnee and Lili are NOT the only players!

Youngjung is actually a player as well! Somehow, he forgot all about his real/past life and became totally immersed in the role of Youngjung. As of the latest chapters (40+), he regains some (?) of his past life memories, and he knew Yona Lee! Looks like he had romantic feelings for her even then lol

So how this was found out was pretty cool. Basically, there was an assassination attempt on Rahnee's life, Youngjung saved her but got fatally wounded in the process, and we see him die... until he wakes up in this weird techno-field where Rahnee found herself in episode 7, with the big Rahnee avatar asking him if he wants to return to his last checkpoint with his teammates.

So you can guess what happened- suddenly EVERYONE (Rahnee, Lili, and Youngjung ofc) are transported 6 hours back in time. Rahnee and Lili don't immediately understand the situation outside of the fact time got reversed, so they look for Youngjung to save him from his previous fate. Thing is, he was searching for them as well and admits to having a very strange dream about dying for Rahnee. The lightbulbs in the girls' heads turn on, and they basically ask him to snap his fingers (this brings up the 'user menu' screen for all players). Youngjung does this, and a menu does pop up!! Pretty much confirming he IS a player. But as I said before, he doesn't remember being a player until chapter 40 or so.

From what is shown of his past life, he used to be a star football player in Yona's school until he lost a leg in an accident. I'm assuming Yona helped him recover from his ensuing depression. Also, Lili's real persona (the dude playing as her rn) looks to have offered real-Youngjung a spot in the game?
And finally about the emperor... I'm not sure if he's a player or an NPC. See, he can see Rahnee's user menu and Lili notes later on that NPCs can't see the menus, but when he snaps his fingers, his own menu doesn't pop up. Plus he appears to take his in-game backstory very seriously, relating a dead girl from his past to the current Rahnee (which is also why he's so taken with her now). Later on in the story, when Youngjung returns to a previous checkpoint, reversing time in the process, the world literally collapses around the NPCs. The emperor notices this and isn't shocked at all, saying it's happening faster than he expected.

My personal guess? The emperor might be the problematic 'AI' that delayed the release of the game. That, or a real developer of the game who's messing with the players for some reason lmao
You'll be happy to know there is, indeed, romance! More specifically, between Rahnee and the emperor.
I should again preface this by saying I can't read Korean for shit so I'm probably missing out on a ton of details, but the emperor (or 'Sunny' as she knows him) asks her out before she learns about his true identity. She gets into a bit of a conundrum about it because while she does genuinely like 'Sunny', she's also aware he's just an NPC (I think? She's definitely hesitant about the romance at first though). She eventually goes, 'heck it' and kisses him anyway.

A lot of chapters later, she gets into trouble with the empress dowager (Sunny's mother) (?). But before the situation escalates, the emperor arrives (and stops his mom I think) and everyone quickly gets on their knees and bows (head-to-floor). Because of the position, Rahnee doesn't see his face immediately, though she recognizes the voice as Sunny's. She looks up and finally learns that Sunny is true, the emperor, and is horrified to see the usually cheery and cute face she associates with Sunny replaced with the cold, emotionless glare of the emperor.

So some dialogue happens and the emperor ushers everyone out of the room except Rahnee. Now she's obviously afraid because the emperor is the number one cause of Rahnee's death in the original game. But now that they're alone, the emperor can show his true emotions and hugs Rahnee, presumably as an apology for the stress he caused her earlier. It's all good between them after, because in less than 10 panels Rahnee kicks the emperor in the gut, aka the usual relationship lol. Of course, this means that Youngjung lost his side of the bet (if Rahnee remains in the dark about the emperor's identity, they both get to leave) and is distressed about it. I think.

Anyway, Youngjung is definitely the second male lead. After regaining his real life's memories (and feelings for Yona maybe) he suddenly gets this dark, scheming look and approaches the emperor with what I assume to be hidden motives. I'm not sure if Youngjung knows that Rahnee IS Yona, though.

So in a nutshell, it looks like the emperor genuinely likes Rahnee. But again, he has related her to a girl in his past who also called him 'Sunny', so whether it's genuine love for her personality or just because she resembles this dead girl, I'm not too sure. I will say I'm personally on team Youngjung hehe

The disease is caused by malice, the more ppl who hate the FL the worse her condition becomes.

The FL's uncle is the real villain. FL's disease is a key for him to attain eternal life.

The FL and the og villainess, they're sisters. Their mum gave birth to them but since the emperor hates the mum and the mum's family hates her too she's stuck on her own. FL was a sick baby and had to leave the place. Their uncle had been experimenting on the twins (by stripping away their soul) and FL had it worse.

The reason why nobody knew about the twins is that their mum had a contract. The contract is that nobody could enter her home without her permission. She probs gave girls alone. But in the contract Libertia mother proposed to cp mother and emperor, it says that you can reveal it to your blood-related relative, so FL and Crown prince asked the emperor what is in the contract and Emperor told them

Emperor feels guilty throughout the novel. After Dante Vance is defeated, CP finds papers that describe the experiments MC and Libertia went through and shows them to the Emperor. More guilt for him...
Emperor goes to Alicia at the end of the story hoping to be forgiven by her and Alicia/MC tells him that they were never in a position to forgive/be forgiven since they have no relationship and that the only family she had was Libertia. MC mentions to him that the one he should be caring for is Libertia, but she is no longer around.

the FL gets her og body back

Libertia stays by MC as a soul throughout the novel until the end. MC occasionally gets to talk to Libertia after she recovers some memories. With the help of Spirit Kings at the end, Libertia's soul was able to be purified and she leaves the MC.
Libertia gets reborn as MC and Daniel's daughter, named Francis. (really not sure with Mtl names...) and she becomes the next emperor after CP.

After CP gets interested in MC, he slowly puts MC into his "my" category. CP cares for MC and gets extremely angry when he finds out what Vance did to her. Unlike the Emperor who pretty much just feels guilty/apologizes and doesn't take many actions throughout the story, the CP prefers to take action rather than apologizing. CP offers the crown prince's position to MC, but MC refuses. In the end, CP proposed that her child will be the next emperor and she accepts.

Libertia mother and crown prince's mother are actually friends, they didn't fight or anything and the emperor is just an idiot.
The one who killed the crown prince's mother is the uncle. Apparently, the Crown prince's mother is powerful she was blessed and is closely like a 'saint'.Uncle hunts down people who are powerful because he wants to be the strongest

Ariel is actually a nice person. She's just a crybaby. Ariel meets the FL at a meet and greet. The FL actually wrote her fav book. She cried when they first met because FL's so beautiful. Ariel tried to confess to FL but daniel saved her before Fl could taste the crown prince's wrath.

Daniel proposed during winter and then they got married in spring, it was CP and Ariel who prepared their wedding, since the time to prepare is short, FL said it is okay for a simple wedding, but you know a possessive brother and the number 1 fan of FL(Ariel) will let their favorite person have a simple wedding?? just imagine how extra those two made their wedding

Herace, Daniel, and Cain attended their wedding let me tell you how mature they are, not much about their thoughts were in the novel but they were real friends, they were genuinely happy for the both of them.

The crown prince and ariel have a tsundere son, who dotes on FL's daughter.

the antagonist of the story is FL's ex and the emperor

The FL's ex was banned from contacting the FL, and the FL was giving him the same treatment he was giving to her when they were dating. So that what turned him into a villain.

The reason why dad took the ML in as a student is because he has debt to his mum (the previous empress). The previous empress was killed by the current empress who at many times tried to kill the ML. It really explains his personality, not only he was assains hunting him, he has to be wary at all times. Dad always told the ML that he should find someone to hold and protect just like he did, and that's what would make him stronger. He denied his words arguing the emperor is holding him in his hand because of THAT someone. Max got curious about his precious daughter and what's so special about her (u know the rest)

The FL tells the ML that he doesn't want to marry the prince. He's pissed off that dad wants to marry her off and second of all that she doesn't want to marry him. He uses this to his advantage, by becoming closer to her. The ML liked the idea of the FL becoming his empress and so he sends a letter (as the prince) to the FL. Saying that he'll never kill her. This makes her more scared.
ML said yes and so they went to dad to ask permission. All the knights were giving the ML death stares. They both got rejected straight away.

It's really funny since u see both the dad and FL's perspective. Dad thinks the prince is using FL to gain his support for his evil deeds and FL. He's never going to allow ML to take FL away to the dirty royal family.

Dad threatened ML saying that he's not going to teach him anymore. This makes FL cry. Dad then finally agreed to let them marry.
Princess Beatrice had a terrible relationship with her parents and older brother. so she held this party to please her parents but in vain. When she was crying alone our mc noticed her and came to her for comfort-she didn't know she is the princess-. Beatrice took her into the tower-the one that was her prison before she killed herself in the novel but mc didn't know-. They had a chat I don't remember but in conclusion, mc told her to stop seeking attention from ppl and just care about herself, the princess took that advice into the heart and decided to not identify herself as the princess for mc until her adulthood party

As for why her relationship with her mother isn't good. it's because she wanted a son, not a "useless" daughter. And emperor now is stalking his son to take him on his side. He even tried using drugs and prostitutes, but in vain bc prince is really cautious. But when he found out he is interested in Regies' daughter? ooohhhh, how happy he was at that moment bc now she is not hostage to hold Regies down only but could control the ruthless son too!

when you continue reading you will find that one of the reasons for the bad relationship between Regies and Jubilian is that the later when she was young and got scolded by her father-it's mentioned in promo web-, she became really afraid of his rejection. And Regies himself after some indecent-that seemed bad-when she was a child she lost her memory and stopped calling him daddy "아빠". and things got complicated after bc he always had to stay with that coward since he threatening him through her.

At the princess adulthood party things "finally" got clear for Jubilian. After some doubts she confirms, Max is the prince, and while dancing she said they had to talk. Max really got shocked bc she's dull but he knew now his relationship with her is in danger. He doesn't want to break up with her bc he loved her. after she knew his true identity and the truth behind all the rumors about him. she starts to question herself and her choices in doing things. Since she wasn't fair with Max she may have done the same thing with her father- since he rejects their relationship-. Now she noticed how warm he is with her even with his expressionless face, and warm tone regardless of the cold words, he shows his love with actions bc she always got what she wants. If she was really a burden he wouldn't give her all that. She decides to break the ice between them.

I don't know when but Regies decide to side with the prince for real to rebel against the emperor. When he saw his eyes towards them-while dancing- it was full of greed. He knows what was going through his mind. while going back with mc all that he was thinking about is how to torture him and stab him...do all bloody things

Mc didn't know how to get close to him. She asked for help from her new friend Rose who told her to just call him daddy and everything will go smoothly after. Mc's fear of rejection rise again since she is 17 now and will be an adult after two months. how the hell she calls him daddy at this age? But when she saw him with Max having a one-sided fight- Regies hit the hell out of him- She called him daddy "accidentally"
. Regies reaction wasn't what she expected, he got confused and ask desperately if she remembered the above incident-.

When he saw her confused look he gave her a soft smile and "never mind". Now mc knows for sure he never rejected her and it was all in her imagination. She asked him if she really can call him daddy. he answered she can be called him whatever she wants. She felt relieved and shed all the tears she held



SPOILERS ON MIKHAIL:
- The fucker was the one who had poisoned Liche. He stole the poison that Liche's mom was going to feed to the ML. He did it because he got tired of her rage all the time. He felt that all she wanted was to destroy the Empire and Empire that he wanted to rule over. That's why he got tired of her arrogance, strong personality, and temper.
- He figured if he could manipulate and break the MC who was in prison in the first timeline - he could have her hand over the Dukedom, and he could have a much higher status and position in life.
- He kept trying to push the MC and failing. He kept saying he loved her but he would also do insane shit that inevitably put her in even worse danger.
- The MC had - had enough of him and asked the ML to give Mikhail a potion to drink similar to the potion she drank to get rid of her memories of when she was young. Mikhail couldn't tolerate that and committed suicide thinking he will leave a mental wound on her that she will never forget in all of her life. Which that ML smoothly tells him as he dies that even if does this stupidity. ML's going to tell her that Mikhail took the potion and now lives a quiet life with his family and that you wished her well in her life. After all, her happiness is the one that matters, and not his.
- Apparently, he's sorta a transcendent but a cheap version that uses special weapons that soaks up power? He was even planning to seduce either or both Liche and the MC to open their hearts to him so his weapon could essentially steal their power.

yup... as advertised he's a douchebag.

SPOILERS ON THE DAD:
- He didn't kill his wife. But it's more like he failed to protect his wife.

One day young Jubel saw her mother and father argued that night in a room. Her mother (Amelia) said to Jubel to get away from Regis because that night Regis's eyes unclear and she realized that he's not normal Regis (he controlled by Emperor). So young Jubel got out of the room and asked a servant to separate her parent. Then Jubel heard a commotion from inside, she walked in and found her bloody mother, two corpses, and her father with a bloody sword.

So the sword that he held is an assassin's sword, he already regained his consciousness and tried to protect his family.

Amelia said her last word to Jubel and called her baby. Then she died, both Jubel and Regis cried.

At that time young Jubel, got to the conclusion that her father the one who killed her mother. But it's not, because when Regis got into the room, he didn't bring his sword.

And later when adult Jubel regains her memories, she said to her father "Daddy, now that I'm adult I would not misunderstand you again."
Then Regis said, "I'm sorry I could not protect your mother."

So, in conclusion, the one who killed Amelia is the assassin sent by Emperor (those two corpses that I mention above) and Regis failed to protect his wife.- He killed her because the Emperor tricked him when he was younger to give him "permission"; this "permission" allowed a magical ring that the Emperor wore to basically transform him into an unthinking doll that only does as he asks. In this case, the Emperor ordered him to kill his wife - to basically flex on a guy who was actually better than him on all fronts.
- The Dad sorta can resist because he has help from the evil Dragon Paphnel he is the final boss in all of this.
- After he saw his daughter's body that committed suicide using the knife of protection he sent to her. He went insane. He was so emotionally broken that he went berserk and slaughtered his way to the Emperor. The Emperor freaked out and was wondering why the ring is not working. The Emperor begs for his life - which is then cut short when the Dad cuts off his head. Then despair makes a wish on the locket which binds Paphnel to turn back time and bring his daughter happiness.
- He actually remembers the original timeline but only sees it as uneasy dreams which resolve him to pay attention to his daughter and make a real effort to get along with her.

SPOILERS ON PANEL:
- Evil dragon and is the original father of the 1st King of the Empire.
- Obsessively in love with the Goddess of Magic Kerke
- Orchestrated every shitty thing in the book to seize all the power to trap the Goddess's essence in the body of the most beautiful woman (MC). He also encouraged slaughter on many wizards just so he could feel he has all her love to herself.
- Is fully sealed away due to the main cast and the Goddess working together.
- He is now in the shape of a child that cries in total sealed darkness that he's very very very lonely. Which was Kerke's punishment for him.


SPOILERS ON LICHE A.K.AN OG! HEROINE
- She was a lonely, bitter, and downtrodden girl.
- Having the MC cheer her up and later become her friend made massive changes in her personality.
- She felt that her brother is no longer her enemy because the MC acted as their bridge to build their relationship together.
- In the OG! timeline she may have been used by Mikhail and she realized this when MC told her the contents of a book. She felt the person she is now is forever changed because of the affection she receives now.
- She falls madly in love with Victor/Kayden when he was assigned to her as a guardian knight. Victor/Kayden loved her so much that he seized back his original status as a 2nd noble son from a father he hates because without proper status he can't be her personal head of knights. After receiving this genuine passionate love Liche finally has self-love from the lens of how Victor/Kayden sees her. With this self-love, she's able to use magic.
- She's a magical genius able to design and create magic. She helps MC with a transportation array that will make it easier for the MC to move from her Duchy's lands to the Palace.
- She becomes a proper duke in her own right and the head of the magical tower.
- She goes crazy later on trying to get her lover's father's permission to marry. She's almost taken advantage of by a neighboring King who wants to again use her by seducing her. Liche thinks this guy sorta treats her like a gentleman would but her heart will always belong to Kayden. When that douche starts bad guy monologing - the ML overhears and we never hear from that guy again.
- Kayden finds out why Liche seems so sad and tells his dad that he will cut ties with them again but this time permanently to marry Liche. This time he will only ask for Max/the new Emperor for permission that he knows he will grant. Liche gets super stressed and asks Kayden to marry her. If even it means abusing her authority they will be married. Kayden is sheepish because she beat him to the punch and asks her himself which she ecstatically says yes. They get married finally with all the pomp and circumstance properly.
- Liche also doesn't get to see her niece and nephew until months later because the ML likes to fop off his work to his sister to spend time with the MC. Which overworks her like crazy since she now - overseers and develops her own duchy, manages the wizard tower, and has to handle whatever responsibility her brother decides to toss aside. When she sees them (niece and nephew) she fell in love with them right away.




SPOILERS ON THE GODDESS KERKE:
- She is the Goddess of magic.
- Viewed all wizards and magical beings as her cute children.
- Once doted on Panel and was kind to him because he was a magic innovator. The panel became obsessed and jealous and went on a crazy rampage to kill all magical beings and wizards other than himself.
- Kirk decided to bless an individual who will become her priest/saint to able to manipulate her will on the world and somehow save the wizards.
- When the dad made his wish - she overrides the command and takes it away from Paphnel since it's a wish that pertains to her Priest/Saint. From there she inserts her knowledge of events in the form of a book/novel? To help the MC gain perspective.
- When the MC finally realizes she is not alone in her fight and that Beatrice/Liche will stand by her it allows the ring (Kerke's ring) that was manipulating the father to finally fall in Liche's hand and to see her as its owner. With them working together they had enough power to call down the Goddess for some divine help.
- She announces that MC may be her last priest/saint
- On the day MC is married she freezes time and asks her for MC's wish for finally saving and uplifting her precious wizards. The MC says "let me get married already"; The Goddess is stunned, and asks are you sure that's all she wants. The MC is yes - because my marriage will allow me to share my happiness. The Goddess even more impressed allows time to flow and blesses her marriage.



fl finds out ml's identity
Juvellian is at a ball sort of thing, and Max is there as the crown prince (not as his commoner identity), A man asks Juvel to dance, so max gets really jealous and steps in to invite her to dance instead. Everyone is extremely surprised because the crown prince is supposedly scary and a lone wolf type of person. Also, I should add, Juvel found out abt Max’s identity before this secretly, so she’s kinda mad at him rn. She asks the crown prince (Max) to go to the terrace to talk and they go and she confronts him about hiding his identity. Originally they were fake “dating” so she says they should stop fake dating and he starts to cry and beg her to stay. And she wipes his tears and they kiss

ending

After the last battle Arc (defeated final boss: the dragon and the Emperor).

The Emperor died and his wrongdoing exposed (don’t want to give up his throne, killed wizards, tried to kill Max, etc).

The Empress died from poison to protect Beatrice, her daughter.

The dragon goes back to the dungeon, get locked, and transformed in the form of a small kid.

Regis freed from the ‘ring contract’ that controlled him.

Max will be the next emperor.

Max wanted to kill Mikhail, but Jubel wanted to let him go with the term that he erased all his memories (they gave him a magic potion). But Mikhail will always be Mikhail, he doesn't want to forget about Jubel then killed himself. :facepalm:

Jubel and Beatrice become wizards, develop magic tools together, and with Max’s permission they built Magic Tower.

Beatrice and Kay become a couple, but in order to get married Beatrice still tried to get Kay's father’s permission.

Beatrice becomes Grand Duchess and Magic Tower’s leader.

Max wanted his coronation and wedding held on the same day, but Regis still reluctant to let Jubel go. After Jubel talked with Regis that after getting married she’ll still with him in the future. Regis let Jubel goes to Imperial Palace to prepare her wedding.

Jubel and Max got married, then had twins (a boy and a girl). :bloblove:

The kids love dearly by their grandpa, father, and aunt. Jubel herself worried that they will be too spoiled.



They have twins, a princess and a prince. the princess’s name is Alice and she has red eyes and white hair. the prince name is Franz and he has black hair and blue eyes. the whole family (Regis, Liche, Max) are fools for them. and a funny moment is that when they were born Max and Regis were brainstorming about what to name them and even attempted to bring it up at National Assembly and even set price for the person who finds the best name, Juvel is speechless and names them herself (Alice and Franz)then when she think it’s over with the name, they say “okay what about the second name”. LOL
Spoiler: what happened to Mikhail, Emperor and the empress and Phanpil(literally villains of the story)





so in order, first the Empress(Beatrice’s mother) was poisoned and decides to help her daughter so in she will expose all the emperor’s bad deeds in front of all the nobles and died there from poison. and the emperor makes a deal with Panphil that he will release his shackles if he helps him run away, and asks him to not attack him, so Panphil swears on his name(if he breaks the promise on his name he will get crazy)but when the emperor releases him he kills him and says that he was crazy from the start and that he threw away his name a long time ago. Panphil gets sealed by Juvel with Regis and Max and Liche and goddess Kirke’s help. and finally Mikhal. Mikhail was imprisoned, and when he was regretting everything Max comes to visit him and gives him the poition and says it’s a potion that makes him forget everything. apparently Juvel said she will give him another chance and that he can go and live with his family happily only if he forgets everything, Juvel was feeling kinda guilty and thought that it was somehow her fault that he turned out like this. Mikhail says that no way and that he doesn’t want to forget his memories with Juvel. and max kills him, he was going to kill him wether he drinks the potion or not. and he told Juvel that he Milkhail did drink the potion and is now living somewhere quietly so thta Juvel won’t worry because even if Mikhaik was a wicked man Juvel would cry for him and max didn’t want her to cry for another man so he just told her that Mikhail’s fine.
Spoiler: what happened to princess Beatrice, Max’s half sister





so princess Beatrice was being used by the empress and emperor and they treated her like shxt. Empress kinda hated her because she was born as a girl and can’t be the emperor. so Beatrice wanted to be recognized by her father and mother, but failed everytime. then there’s this time she was sad because of her parents and she went to the temple, and Juvel was also in the temple at the time. she saw Beatrice and thought she looked like Max, (at the time she didn’t know she was the princess) and offers her a handkerchief. and at a party beatrice was sad again because of her parents and she will go somewhere to cry and Juvel will find her again. she will comfort her and Beatrice opens up to her. the too were somehow similar because Juvel also wanted to be recognized by her father. she tells princess that she also suffered from something similar and that she shouldn’t let her value down because of others and her happiness matters the most. so Juvel will find out that she is princess beatrice later and her nickname is Liche (A nickname for Beatrice) so yeah they become friends. and Juvel will make Max and Liche’s relationship improve. and remember there was a knight who dressed in Max’s armor and pretend to be crown prince when max was gone? yeah he was max’s knight and was know as a playboy commoner, his name was victor. Max will order Victor to be Liche’s knight and escort her. and at some point the princess and victor will fall in love. but victor was a commoner so he didn’t confess his feelings.so there was this time Mikhail was appointed as Emperor’s Commander and wanted to use Liche because he figured out she’s a wizard and wanted her mana, so he will take over Victor’s post and becomes her escort knight. Victor is angry that he couldn’t do anything because he was a commoner. so he tells Liche that he’s going to work as a knight in Marquis Pedals estate. so most of the events literally happened because of a misunderstanding between Juvel and Regis. in the end all the misunderstandings gets cleared up though. so Regis’s story is sad. when he was very young he quickly became a powerful knight and was a knight for the emperor, so the emperor gets him drunk (even tho he’s a minor) and makes him sign the deal of the ring. the ring that the emperor has is called ‘Kirke’s Eye’ and can control Regis, the only condition is that he has to agree to the deal so the emperor got him drunk and made him agree. so after that he was being controlled by the emperor to kill his enemies. Even when his father (the duke of floyen at the time) got sick and died,and later even when her wife was giving birth to Juvel, he was forced to kill for the emperor and couldn’t be there. so there is this time that he find Panphil’s tomb, where he is sealed by shackles. and Panphil talks to him and tries to manipulate him to free him( he wan’t physically there, just his soul was there and could talk because he was sealed) Regis won’t fall for his manipulation but visits him every night because if something happened and Phanpil was freed he will attack the state.due to this, Regis wife thinks Regis is cheating on him because he is out every night and breaks down and becomes emotionally unstable, depressed. but Regis can’t tell her the truth because then she will also try to protect the state by going there. he just makes excuses but his wife doesn’t believe him. despite Regis and his wife fighting often, Regis really loves Juvel and they have this sweet and cute moments. and Juvels mother (regis’s wife) also plays with Juvel sometimes, other times she just emotionally relies on her daughter. so sometimes emperor controlled Regis and his wife would sometimes recognize that he is not acting like his self and that he is being controlled. then there was this time when Juvel was young , the emperor controls Regis and tells him to bring and destroy the most precious thing to him because the greedy wants to find Regis weakness. Regis most precious thing was Juvel so poor regis is being controlled and goes to bring Juvel and kill her. so when he gets there Juvels mother will tell Juvellian to hide inside the closet and asks regis who he is and what happened to regis(it was regis and he was just being controlled)so when he asks her in a robotic voice where is Juvel and starts looking for her, Juvel will run from the closet because she thinks her parents are fighting and goes to get help from the vassals and servants outside the room. they just coldly ignore her. and when Juvel comes back to the room her mother is dead and her father is crying in front of her dead body. she thinks her father killed her, when in truth the vassals who coldly ignored Juvel earlier were assassins and knights sent by the emperor and they were the ones who killed her mother. at Juvel’s mother funeral when she sees her father she screams and is scared of him because she think he killed her mother. Regis was very depressed and sad about this. so this continues and Juvel will seriously faint and lock herself in her rooms and similar things. so Regis wants to help her so he will make a deal with Panphil. So Regis has this pendant relic thing that got passed down in his family. it can release phanpils shackles. Regis will say that he will half release Phanphil if he seals his daughter’s memories. so after that she will lose the memories of what happened and won’t break down anymore. but Regis acts cold to her because she thinks she is scared of him and that she hates her. he think he doesn’t deserve her love. and Juvel misunderstands and think that he doesn’t love her and wants to get recognized by her father. so in Juvels first life the reason Regis doesn’t come to her coming-of-age ball is because that knight he was being controlled by the emperor, and the next day he really regrets it. so the only reason Regis was being nice to Mikhail was because he was Juvels lover and he wanted her to be happy. but Juvel misunderstands that he favors him because he is a powerful knight under him. what exactly happened when Princess Beatrice was poisoned in first life (Mikhail was behind it), the emperor tried to use this chance to destroy Regis’s weakness, his daughter. so he tells his that how can he trust him with imprisoning juvel when he is her dad. so Regis knows that there’s no way Juvellian is behind it and says that he will imprison her in the shadow room because she can be safe there. the sword that Regis gave Juvellian was actually a relic sword that can protect her. she misunderstands and thinks it’s for killing herself. Regis will beg the crown prince, his disciple to protect her and that he will help Max take the emperor down if he protect his daughter. so Max went to the shadow room in the request of his master, but Juvel thinks he is there to torture her so she will kill herself. after she killed herself Regis went crazy, and murders everyone and the empire went into chaos. When he was killing the emperor, he tries to control Regis with the ring.but it doesn’t work because Regis is not in his right state of mind and because he went crazy. so he kills everyone and everything. then he glances at the emperor’s crown. and thinks that the crown doesn’t mean anything if Juvellian is not wearing it. so apparently the relic pendant thingy that he has can grant a wish but it costs the casters life. so he wishes to see Juvellian again. and that is the reason was back again in her third life. the story behind the second life is that , Goddess Kirke chose Juvellian as her priest in Juvel’s first life, because God Kirke wanted Juvel to seal Paphil again. but juvel died Phanphil was unsealed and the empire even got destroyed by Regis. so she takes her to her second life, and lets her read the novel of it so she can have more information, and then by Kirke’s help and Regis wish, she is granted a third life with her last life’s memories.so this time, Juvellian thinks that there is no chance between her and Regis. and they keep misunderstanding each other.so regis will also have a dream of his first life. he thinks of it as a ‘nightmare’ and wants to prevent it. so in the end they will keep getting closer and she will get her memories and find out the truth and will tell her father about her first life. and they want to be with each other for the rest of their lives. and they defeat emperor and Phanphil together. at first regis was against max and juvel’s marries but in the end he agrees.




so in 1000 or more years in the past Phanphil was a dragon and the empire’s emperor.Max was phanphil’s descendant. and I think Kirke was a Goddess. so Kirke was kind to everyone, even phanphil. but phanphil thinks of her kindness as love and becomes yandere and kills everyone around her. so in the end he becomes a evil dragon that wants to destroy his own empire so Kirke seals him. but phanphil’s spirit could still talk and manipulate others to freeing him, so Kirke makes a prophecy that in 1000 or something years a priest wizard will come and seal him in Kirke’s behalf. and that priest was Juvellian. personally I think if in that time Phanphil didn’t get too obsessive and hadn’t gone the wrong way, they could get together because it was said that Kirke was a little sad when he got sealed and even thought of him as ‘cute’ before.well shame.



so kirke’s eye has only one weakness. if a wizard with more mana than the ring’s owner appears, the ring will chose them as its new owner. the emperor wasn’t a wizard, so he would kill all the wizard and use their blood for mana so that the ring will stay with him.but later phanphil kills the emperor and takes the ring. so in the end when they are fighting with phanphil, princess beatrice will awaken her powers and the ring will chose her as its owner because she has more mana.


yes there were more male leads. the first male lead is of course Max. the second male lead is Mikhail who is obsessed over Juvellian and has dark and greedy desires for her. the third male lead is named Fred and he is a duke’s son, the duke is a prime minister. so he is very handsome and is known in the high society as the perfect groom candidate. but he’s real personality is cold. he’s not a bad guy though. so in Princess’s birthday part he shows interest in Juvellian. and later comes to visit her work related. but in the end he will confess and he will say that he will win the prize of the hunting competition (a event that took place in the novel)and give it to Juvellian (basically means he will ask her to marry him). so Juvellian tries to reject but he’s persistent. but Max will win the hunting competition and he will find out that Juvellian’s commoner lover was actually the crown prince, so he gives up and instead becomes close friends will juvellian and he only wants her to be happy. the fourth male lead is Ian, he is a workshop’s owner and a fallen house’s noble. so the workshop wasn’t that popular and it was run down, but with Juvellian’s ideas it will become the most popular workshop, so Ian was in love with Juvellian, but because of his status he gives it up and only wants her to be happy, but he will still give her many jewelry and gifts under the excuse that she is his workshop’s muse and that it’s only gifts for her to sponsor the workshop. so in the end Max will ask him to make a jewelry for him to give it as a gift to juvellian. and Ian will stay as Juvellian’s close friend.






His backstory is that since he was young he was very strong and takes the Knight Commander’s title when he was young and all.
The emperor is very greedy and he wanted to use Regis (The father’s name). one time the emperor will ask him to share a drink with him, Regis was underage but couldn’t really refuse the emperor so they had a drink and when Regis was drunk the emperor will ask him for a favor and Regis just says yes because he can't refuse him and unknowingly when he said ‘yes’ he was actually swearing an oath that he couldn’t break unwillingly. When Regis found out it was too late. the truth behind the oath was the emperor’s ring. with the permission of a side, they can’t disobey the ruler of the ring. the ring only obeyed a person with the most mana, that’s why the emperor killed most of the magicians and wizards and collected their mana so he can be the person with most mana, that’s the reason that there is no tower of magicians and there’s not much wizards. so the emperor got Regis’s permission when Regis was careless and after that when he gave a order with the ring, Regis couldn’t disobey it.
Emperor used Regis to kill all his enemies and people he wanted dead.
So later when Regis succeeded the Duke’s title from his father, he went in political marriage with our MC Juvel (a nickname for juvellian)’s mother. The mother’s name was Amelia. so after Juvel’s birth, Regis was busy most of the time and didn’t even come back home at the nights. because of that the mother, Amelia was depressed and thought Regis is cheating on her and doesn’t want her and they’re daughter anymore. which was not true at all, whenever Regis was home he played with Juvel and spoiled her. they were really sweet. there was actually a reason that he wasn’t home most of the time at nights. The Floyen dukes had some responsibility to check a sealed place from time to time, the first emperor of +100 years ago was sealed there. so regis will go to check to make sure that everything is sealed and realized that someone is there, and it’s actually the sealed emperor, Phanphil (which had a backstory of his own). he was immortal or something because of magic? and he wasn’t physically there because he was sealed. but he tried to manipulate Regis to break his seal but Regis refused. but regis just couldn’t leave it alone because it could manipulate other to break his seal and so regis went to check on Phanphil every night, or from time to time(?). the other reason that regis wasn’t home often was because the emperor would use the ring on him and order him to kill enemies for him. anyway because of this Amelia thought he’s cheating and they argues from time to time. some times Regis would come after he was used by the ring, and amelia would sense that something is different about him. there is one time that emperor orders Regis to bring his weakness to him and Regis’s weakness is his daughter, Juvellian. so his body moves on its own and he goes to the duchy to take juvellian to the emperor. the emperor wanted to threaten Regis with his weakness. The emperor had some inferiority complexes and despised Regis. Amelia senses something strange and tells Juvellian to hide. And when regis comes for juvel she senses that there is something wrong with him and stops him and asks who he is, when they start arguing Juvel comes out from the place she was hiding and goes to call for servants to stop her fighting parents. but the servants ignore her and something seemed wrong. when she goes back she sees her mother’s dead body and amelia’s last words were that she shouldn’t be scared :notlikeblob:. she also sees Regis soaked with blood and some servants dead bodies there. and Regis starts crying very very sadly and horribly. the small juvel thinks that her father killed her mother, and is horrified of him. on her mother’s funeral when she sees Regis she immediately screams in fear and faints and after that this happened whenever she met him. Regis can’t bear hurting her so he goes to phanphil and says that if phanphil erases Juvellian’s memory with magic he will open half of his seal. so just like that phanphil erases juvel’s memories and juvellian has no memories of her early childhood. Phanphil’s seal is not still completely open so he still can’t have a physical figure. after that Regis avoids Juvellian because he doesn’t want to hurt her. :blobsob: but he always loved her and wanted her happiness. the reason regis didn’t show up on her party in 1st timeline was because that day he was being controlled by the ring of the emperor. when Juvellian suddenly is lovers with Mikhail (the trash ex boyfriend of mc and original male lead of the novel) the only reason Regis was nice to him and favored him was because he was juvel’s lover and he wanted her to be happy. when Juvel was accused of poisoning the princess, of course Regis without hesitation knew that she wouldn’t do such a thing and that the emperor sill use this chance to get rid of his daughter, so he took him to the prison because it was a safe place for her and even gave her one of his greatest swords that had magic which would protect her. after that he begged his disciple, the crown prince and the ML, Max to go and protect her daughter. he was always neutral to the succession of the throne and didn’t agree to rebel with the crown prince for the throne. but because of his daughter, he promised max that he would rebel with him and help him in the succession of the throne if her saves his daughter. that’s the reason max visited juvel on the prison that day, but juvel who misunderstood everything killed herself. :blobsad:
after that Regis went crazy and killed everyone and destroyed everything, the emperor tried to use the ring on him to stop him but because his mental state was crazy it didn’t work on regis and he killed him too. later it showed how Regis looked at the crown and said that it doesn’t mean anything if it’s not Juvellian who is wearing it. :blobpensive:
when later juvellian remembered her memories, she understood that it wasn’t her father who killed her mother, but it was the servants that were actually assassins from the emperor. that’s why they ignored her when she asked for their help.
so in current timeline, Regis gets a nightmare of the 1st timeline and remembers what happened then.
it was really sad that Juvellian had so many misunderstandings about him when he only wanted her happiness.
some sad stuff are that, Regis always thought about her and even referred to her by her nickname ‘juvel’ or ‘my juvel’ in his heart, he also stalked her sometimes. :blobcry:
the reason she went to look for marriage candidates after hearing her type, was that he misunderstood that juvel wants marriage and he wanted her happiness so he was looking for best people.:blobsneeze:
so fortunately this time their relationship slowly heals and juvel will get her memories in somewhere in chapter 161-167.

He was assigned to the FL, and slowly falls in love with her. The blonde dude becomes emperor and the FL becomes grand duke for her efforts to the country.

The emperor and empress confess their feelings. A concubine asks for the ML, FL says not to go cause she has a bad feeling. The FL gets kidnapped and is taken away for 2 years. ML becomes a tyrant.
After the empress’ death, the MC goes back to her original body (she actually knew she had to leave the empress’ body that day but so she asked the emperor to stay with her which became a huge trauma to the ML) and after two years she goes back to the palace disguised as a male escort/bodyguard due to political shenanigans. The MC was actually summoned for a reason, and it involves this radical group founded by the Ryeokuk’s royals who wants to assassinate the emperor.

MC felt somewhat attached to the group though she enters the imperial palace and wants to protect the emperor seeing how the ML blames himself hard for everything and turned into someone completely different. The ML also left the empress’ place exactly as it was before, and gave out harsh punishments for everything involving the ‘late’ empress. The story kind of turns into a ‘BL’ romance as naturally the ML is reminded of his one true love-the empress from the MC’s expressions/habits when she starts working as the emperor’s escort and falls in love. ML admits his feeling for the new MC pretty early on, even though he is a ‘male escort/bodyguard because he really regretted losing the empress without admitting his feelings. The ML even gets jealous saying you should be my man even in front of beautiful women lol and that causes Gong Lin to panic again and she tries the frame the MC, and even going as far as recreating the bloody ML’s trauma by harming herself and then copying the last words of the empress to hold onto the ML (which is pretty messed up IMO).

MC felt angry about that incident and tried to tell him the truth, asking what if the empress is not dead but just hiding due to circumstances...but the ML reacted pretty violently and storms out to go see his concubine. MC was disappointed because it reminded her of her last day - even when it is extremely important, he always chooses Gong Lin. So MC starts acting cold to the ML, refusing the snacks he orders for her, not meeting his eyes, and trying to avoid eating together, etc. ML was scared that he hurt the MC, and he didn’t want to lose ‘him’ too so he asked why he was mad and he will try to fix whatever it is which surprised MC since he would have never done this before with the empress. ML even confesses that he is in unrequited love with him in front of everyone, and tries his best.

That’s why when it was revealed MC is part of the infamous group that abducted the empress, it hurt him pretty bad as he thought she approached him on purpose and how he really fell in love with the person who killed the one he loved the most. While in prison, she tries to say she was trying to protect the emperor all along, but the ML was very conflicted with his guilt for the empress. Then when MC is alone with Hoon, she confesses her real identity considering her group obviously abandoned her and left her to die and to prove it she recounts how they met the first time, with the intruder and the stone... The prison guard listening to their conversation was a member of the group, so the guard murders the MC while Hoon and the emperor were on their way to the prison. ML sees another bloody gory dead MC, a repeat of his worst nightmare, is shook to the core for the second time.

Fortunately, MC goes back to the empress’ body and a lot of political stuff about this prophecy about her and how she will rid of this group from Ryeokuk. She is given three choices including one where she goes back to her original world and forgets everything. But MC chooses to stay with the emperor and goes to the palace and meets the ML. He couldn’t believe his eyes and kept asking Hoon if he was seeing a ghost and is over the moon when the MC comes back in the empress’ body. Then she teases him saying I heard you were having an affair while I was gone and then kind of explains all the prophecy/politics to him. She couldn’t come back officially due to the threats from the group and the ML wanted to kill all the people involved in the group right away, but MC persuades him to wait to avoid shedding innocent blood and work to eliminate all the discrimination against Ryeokuk people which was the root of all this. The stubborn emperor couldn’t even believe himself that he actually listened to her and put out an edict while she is sleeping. The book ends with the emperor kissing the sleeping MC saying I can endure everything for you (or something similar) with tears

I don't know how to feel about this now. The prince tried to rape the FL and she just forgives him like he only broke a vase. Plus he doesn't have any punishment. Moving on from that arc, from that point seems very wrong.
