ANY ship, any genre, just what’s your #1s?

I saw someone rec “just lovers”, a jegulus fic, and i was like 1) who tf is that but then 2) hold on this is wildly popular and sounds fun. So now I wanna find more fics I’d never normally read

Like I get they're fun to make but there's a new one every day clogging up the feed. Also genuinely, who cares to see a bunch of strangers picrews? Can't you just keep that shit to your group chats.

So um,, whats solo leveling about? What makes it so popular/good?

So i hate abo right lol, its just not my genre even tho i like some parts of it. But im (genuinely) curious why lots of people love it, when it seems like they hate the most important parts of it..? For ex the reviews of Koishite kissshite kanjaitai are all “finally a healthy and consensual abo” but if the characters manage their heats and have equal societal status then just.. why read? I thought the genres appeal was all the feralness but maybe im wrong? Any thoughts appreciated!
