Okay, so basically like people were theorizing he thinks he’s stuck in a book but he’s not. this is like his third life. the first life is what’s depicted in the book, the second life is where him and the ML are besties and then this is technically their third life. MC realizes it at some point and the ML figured it out before ( that’s why he keeps asking if he got his memories back), but he doesn’t know how to tell him the truth. apparently ML brought him back into a different timeline/life. That’s why he was talking about all that shit before he “went to America” and then in this current timeline when he was talking about “would you believe someone if they said they were from the future” or something like that. MC gets all his memories back, but then he starts resenting ML and blaming him for what happened in the first life And completely disregard who he was in the second life (MC) and disregards like all the stuff that’s happened in this third life ( like how gentle ML is). he just focuses on the first life personalities. I didn’t actually read all of it but I was looking into the comments and that’s what people were saying and that’s why it got like a lowish rating because they were like based on current MC‘s personality (21 year-old him), he would not do that so they felt like the author kind of mischaracterized their own character bc he also completely just stops being so optimistic & simply becomes the person from the first life. MC gets mad at ML for bringing him into this third life instead of letting him be in his good second life because his first life was ass, at the end of everything it works out and they get together or whatever, but a lot of people were upset of the direction so I hope that the manhwa goes about it differently. Hope that made sense it’s been a few days since I read the comments

I really really hope the manhwa will successfully published a season 2 where everyone's fave MC won't suddenly changed 180 degree.

I've read a manhua about DID/MPD where the ML merged the two personalities instead of wiping out the alter ego compeletely. I hope the manhwa artists take similar route.
