The concept of "taking a break" in a relationship is ridiculous. That's the same with breaking up. He should have chose to go to therapy instead of making that stupid decision and depressing her.
Yeah because that just open doors for the possibility to be with other people like if you really love someone would you truly be fine with them being with someone else? Idk maybe I’m just shallow but a true relationship is not only about sacrifice but also compromise - I think self growth is important and yes just going through therapy to understand these feelings are very important!

Exactly. He didn't give her an option too... He was like "I have issues that centering you. I'm tired. I also don't want you to change. (huge red flag btw) Don't let me see you for 2 weeks." Then it happens to be a clean break up right after??? In a real life situation, it'd be already over.

I understand where you guys are coming from. The only thing I would add to this is that we know that he went through a very traumatic childhood. This has tampered with his relationship with the concept of love. We also have to remember that they are extremely young. He did the only thing he knew how to do. He knew that if he continued to be with her in the state that he was, he would only hurt her. I believe he was more scared of that than actually staying with her.
The only thing that was talked about that I don't necessarily agree with is how easy it is for people to say, because we're on a break. Now they have an opportunity to be with other people. From my perspective, if it's that easy for you to fall in love or be with somebody else in such a short amount of time, especially when the person you were just in love with is in so much pain then, it makes me believe that you didn't really love that person.
I think the recent chapter is so beautiful and realistic. not everything is sunshine and rainbows. He is a human being who has real trauma and is very young and trying to work it out. I also love her reaction to it in the beginning. She doesn't feel like they really have any problems or reasons to be on a break. Then she realizes that, yeah, they do have a somewhat unhealthy relationship. Her going after him is amazing because he's never had anybody fight for him like that. He's always been abandoned and never chosen first. I cannot wait for where their relationship goes. It's a relationship built on growth and development. They're human beings they're gonna make mistakes. But these specific human beings understand that, and they're trying to be better.

I'm sorry, but from my reading comprehension, while it's true Hananoi wants a "break," he himself told Kou-kun that ultimately, Hotaru will be the one to decide (meaning if she wants the relationship to continue, then they will) but then he broke his arm trying to protect Hotaru which lead to her realizing that Hananoi would always sacrifice himself in their relationship which is unhealthy so SHE decided to break up. My point is;
HOW THE HECK WAS THIS HANANOI'S FAULT???
I'm not trying to pick a fight and I'm not saying it's Hotaru's fault either, both of them are immature and inexperienced in love, and trying to learn how to love, but reading your comments made me wondered if we're even reading the same thing???
ML's clothes gives me stress. Couldn't she find a bigger size of a shirt so his arms could have some blood flow in them?? It doesn't look nice either... This must be the equivalent of those female armors in games.
Only in the last 15(ish) chapters ML acted like a human... It was already too late for forgiveness I think. Before that MC was basically talking to a brick wall. He had no facial expressions. ZERO. I wouldn't recommend this, find something else to read guys, don't let the art style deceive you.
First of all, give ML his slick-back tough army man style back. It was a crime to give him bangs. Deserves JAIL TIME! And after the grandfather came things got a bit repetitive but it's still a good enough story. Some scenes made me laugh out loud too... They were so cute...:>
I didn't even read this manhwa, looked at the comments, checked the last chapter, I found myself agreeing with you all and laughing my ass off. Thank you.
The art is so good tho, except for the piss color ofc.

Honestly I wouldn't come back.
