I dont know if this is based from a novel (and if it is i do hope this will turn out better) but GODDAMN they dont even have chemistry at all??? This was such a painful read and I just keep reading it cause it's 3:30 and I'm waiting for the daily reset but fucking hell. I'm thinking that something happened on his childhood during his flight back to Japan? That changed his perspective and want to travel to teach children(?) Because that's what he's been hiding from yuki and his goal in life, but yuki's father alr know about his past and idk they look solemn when they talked at the hot springs, so I guess something tragic happened on the flight or idk but the way oushi hides it, something def happened, as he said before that Yuki is pure and has never been tainted(?) I don't know how Japan's justice goes, but it seems to be the male lead's crime is manslaughter. Can't argue that it's self-defense because his life wasn't in immediate danger and it became a crime of passion the moment he decided the brother does not deserve to live anymore. Moreover, a self-defense claim is really hard to prove when there were just the two of them and the fact that he hid for years only aggravates his charge. Well, I get a feeling hewill eventually confess when he'll know that the victim was the female lead's brother because of guilt or something. It's truly tragic but I hope they still have a good ending.
I totally agree with you. I do hope the ML confesses to the police and serves whatever sentence that is verdict by the law, so that both the FL and ML and finally live in peace without any lingering guilt breaking their minds.
