the way i see it... daichi could've caused an issue for "jun"s scam because "jun" realized that daichi was on guard against him since the day they met. so to pull off the perfect scam, "jun" had to pull daichi to his side in case daichi affected his sister's feelings in any way (he doesn't know the real dynamics of their rs)... and then when "jun" decided to end the scam and run with the money, he created that 'oops we slept together' situation to make it seem like he had a good reason to break up with the sister. up until he disappeared without a trace w/ all the money, none of them suspected anything.. aka the perfect scam.
anyways, this is just my theory ... we'll probably find out soon enough ╮(￣▽￣)╭ kyuugou's always been a master at creating great psychological plots so im excited for more chapters (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I honestly love the twist, It was pretty obvious he was shady, but I thought he was just a stalker. there's only one other yaoi that I read with a conartist plot, so I didn't expect it with this story.
i love it too! i thought it was some kind of revenge plot but i think this chapter implies that "jun" is just a really good conman and it's not personal (imo).
i've read a few con-artist plots but none as good as this one imo! this really showed what a perfect scam can actually look like from the perspective of the people who are getting scammed... like how you won't notice until the scammer is long gone and the impact it can have on you and the people around you when the realization hits ╥﹏╥
I really enjoy Kyuugou's other work and after the twist I'm even more invested. I know it was part of the scam to throw him off the scent, but the fact "Jun" decided to stride over and give Daichi and his friends career advice has me marvelling at the level of hustle.
And then the advice itself ("to bluff and keep smiling") becomes pretty interesting after it's revealed the line of work he's in.

Yes!! I can definitely see something like that happening. The fact that Daichi's struggling to find work (along with the current financial situation) could lead to him reluctantly getting involved in some shady/illegal activities.
If that happens, it's possible he ends up accustomed to that way of life....."bluffing and smiling" while becoming a monster in sheep's clothing himself. I'm also looking forward to finding out "Jun's" story after that conversation too!

and lbr, if some stranger came up to you and basically told you that they couldn't live without you how would you react - let alone someone who spent most of his formative years as a child soldier in war zones...
for their sex scenes - the first time, ML is rough BUT the MC provides clear consent. their second time is much sweeter.

(pretty sure we all know what (WHO) this is lmaoooo but scene cuts before he explicitly calls it out)
* EDIT * - disclaimer, the below is mostly accurate but i only partially TLed/summarized taeseung's dirty talk from this chapter (i'm gonna wait for our queen yonha to get to this one bc she can do justice to taeseung's lines)
scene goes back to taeseung/suyeong!! taeseung tells suyeong that he wants to start by touching (the word he uses is stronger tho, more like....feeling up lol?) the places suyeong likes best. so taeseung starts feeling him up everywhere and asking suyeong if he likes it (ears, neck, waist). taeseung then says it seems like no matter where he touches, suyeong likes it so he's unsure about where suyeong's weak spot is and that it might be faster to find a place that suyeong doesn't like him touching.

about the dream that taeseung has...which im 98% sure is actually a flashback lol: the guy who looks extremely similar to sooyoung (i think we can assume it's sooyoung but can't be 100% sure bc the face is obscured) AND taeseung are both wearing the same high school uniform. i didn't catch it at first because taeseung isn't wearing the uniform tie but everything else looks the same. so that means they probably went to high school together!
anyways this matches up with their canon ages (TS is only 3 years older SY) and now we're finally getting information on why taeseung felt like he recognized sooyoung the first time they met.
At the beginning of the story, TS was presented as a violent mafia boss but with a hint of softness especially when it comes to SY. He was being ultra protective and theres no really solid reason in the beginning of the stoey. But starting from the moment we saw him sending off SY home (before the ex rough SY up :( ) i have a feeling it was more than just physical attraction i thought it was. And he really have deep feelings toward SY.
