Actually kiss is very common when someone is having a panic attack and hyperventilating (amongst people who know eachother)
It is not recommended at all especially in this case as they aren't even close close. You don't know how a person might react with a kiss, it might work but it might also just trigger a person more in panic or stress.
Imagine your self as being stressed out and a person kisses you, some might find it relaxing but others not in the mood might just get pissed of more.
