Nah, the audacity of this man to claim Shu in front of everyone—especially THE EMPRESS AND HER DAUGHTER, WHO ARE TRYING TO KILL SHU EVERY DAMN SECOND. His ignorant ass needs to sit down and fix the MANY problems within and around the royal family before he even thinks about Shu again.
And Shu—she needs to speak up and stop being so nice and accommodating to him. She should look the Emperor in the eye and say, "No. I will not go with you because you can't protect me from the Empress, WHO IS ACTIVELY TRYING TO KILL ME EVEN NOW!"
I can't believe I ever felt bad for this man—nah, all sympathy is gone. No matter what he does from now on, unless he sacrifices his life to save Shu, it's on sight. No mercy, no forgiveness, and every effort of his will be criticized. And he needs to stop acting like he's doing everything for Shu's sake when it's very clear that his actions are just a reflection of his guilt toward her, not love.
He isn't claiming Shu as his daughter because of pure love and the desire for her safety—he's doing it because HE feels guilty, and HE wants to ease that guilt by bringing her back and paying the role of a father when he can't even father his other 2 children properly. Dude can't even go against the Empress. It's like he lives in this freaking bubble while the Empress dances around it and he doesn’t even notice.
Like, dude, come on. You can’t be Shu’s father. You can’t even be a proper king and rule your dang kingdom when the people closest to you are literally planning evil RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. Damn.

Every chapter, I keep telling myself to skip the next week so I can read two chapters in a row and avoid the pain of waiting for the next update after an extremely awesome scene turned cliffhanger... AND I NEVER LISTEN TO MY PAST SELF, FIKN DUMBBUTT (╯°Д°)╯╧╧! WHY CAN'T I WAIT?!
So is the author trying to imply that the cubes are living entities like creatures that dark magic users abuse and use to gain power hence why our boy can tame it? Or they are just writing whatever to make our boy more a star?
Also a tiny complaint: he’s a tamer right? I wanna see him tame or bond more with his creatures. Please!

Yeah, no. Everything was good until the Tang girl came in, like the sexualization was way too much for me. Was fine with her crush, thought it was cute the last chapter. A little weird, but nothing to crazy. But this chapter was a lot, lol. Little girl looked like she was having an orgasm every panel and that was not pleasant to watch. I hope she gets better cause I don't really like the idea she's this sexually obsessed so soon.
Other than that, my only other gripe is that MC seems on the fast track to only having female companions. I can get over a harem, but I REALLY want him to have some male friends. Like I get so tired of stories where the MC is hated by every guy. Like come on, he needs some male friendships, make it even. Would make the story so much better. Hope we get to see some male friends later in the story. But yeah, it's an okay story. Will still be reading.

First, Happy Holidays and I'm sorry, but let me complain. I'm upset about Amaryllis' ending. I was hoping this would be a fake death situation and she comes back later for a better or at least more fulfilling ending but nope. She's actually dead and I'm pissed. Now, I don't like her, I'm team Ashtarte all the way, but come on, the poor girl didn't deserve such a flimsy death. Maybe it is better in the novel and the manga just didn't capture the vibe of Amaryllis' ending well enough, but idk.

Like I said in a comment I don't think he loves her. But time and time again the author tells that he loves her so much. There was no additional info about the mistress after a scene with the pope when things are going wrong. The emperor did find out that it was a fake daughter but I really don't like how things went.

when the fake poisoned the both of them and was found out by a medic that she was fake as she does not take in blessings to heal her from poisoning and the pope took her away took out all her blood as it was green and pronounced her dead and blames astarte as the culprit. It was internally reveals by the medic what he found out and think and then the story went weirdly fast that was like the author just wanted it to finish. With running away finding a priest that heard the true Oracle while running away a guy tried to kill them that was ordered by the pope and was supposed to be powerful and weirdly knows a lot of info but like died super fast and that was one of the mastermind with the pope he's just like hey im powerful and hey im dead. Then going back to the empire to prove astarte's innocence as the pope told people that she killed the fake and the oracle is coming true that the darkness killed light but of course the truth is reveal infront of rioting people and an uno reversed happened and the people was like we like you astarte I hope your okay and we love you when just second ago they went there to kill astarte. Basically the emperor did not reveal the that fake was a fake and even honored her as a princess and was buried in the royal cemetery or something like wtf is that. So like what astarte went through was nothing to them and they just reveled to the public thats like hey the pope told a lie the oracle was fake this is the true oracle and thats it and astarte went away to ml's country.
For those expecting some refreshing payback by our FL, a FL who grows and becomes assertive, or a FL enjoying her new life, learning from her trauma, and not being a complete pushover towards the evil bitch character, you have came to the wrong story.
Fristly, fom what I saw skimming the raws it looks like Pink head in the original world also travels to the other world with FL and she ends up possessing, drum roll...................the pink haired heroine what a shocker.
Another huge shocker, she's still a bitch and I mean an insufferable psychotic bitch who harms others so she can heal them and boost her fake innocent saint persona. But no worries right, we have the FL who knows how corrupted pink head is and plans to put her in her place, right? NO! THE FL, THE FUCKING FL LEAD LETS PINK HEAD GET AWAY WITH SO MUCH CRAP! LETS HERSELF GET DRAGGED INTO HER EVIL SCHEMES LIKE SHE ISN'T CAPABLE OF DEFENDING HERSELF PHYSICALLYOR VERBALLY. GIRL, CURSE HER OUT AT LEAST!
Like you get a new life after saying all that stuff during your death and you just let pink head treat you like shit AGAIN?!? Freaking stand up for yourself, who cares if people see you as a villain if you do?!??! Stand up for yourself, and DO SOMETHING.
And the worst part is like FL acts all strong and smart, making you believe she has these brilliant plans to stop pink head, then proceeds to allow Pink head to get away with stuff. The times she does stop her it's only because FL puts herself in harms way and becomes a victim in the pink heads schemes.
Arrrgghhhhh, I hate stories like this with a PASSION. They are frustrating because you know the FL doesn't get ANY character development and it's constant drama and her fretting and worrying about how bad pink head is and how she can stop her without actually doing anything about it.
