It's NOT like dawn of the dragon bc in that, he acknowledges that if it isn't his mate reincarnation, he DOESN'T want to do anything with him, all the while with them as a couple, it was established multiple times by both characters in that, that both of them are not looking for replacements, they're just intending to reunite. Both parties are aware of there being a "past live".
Not in this story, our MC doesn't know ML is pursuing him bc of their past lives, in MC's POV, it's a relationship or situationship that's built upon mutual interest, not for ML tho, he constantly compares MC's behaviours and quirks to MC's past live, (that MC is not aware of) and when our MC does tell him abt his interests, hobbies, families in this current life, ML was not interested in the slightest, he literally got mad over MC having a whole actual life outside of his past live. I genuinely don't understand why you don't understand other reader's POV rn, ML is being an asshole rn, even if MC isn't aware of all these monologues, and thoughts, it is happening. And it is disrespectful and disappointing to read through, I'm personally hoping that ML get better with his behavior and is able to See MC as his own self with his new life and respect that without always comparing him to Derek, his past live
