BRUHHHH the whole story was her coming to terms that she's a reincarnation of a horrible person, and she wants to set things right by stepping in to make sure things won't stay it's fucked up ways.
she's not a reincarnation that came into crown's family youngest without a past, she's a reincarnation of one of the most powerful being in the whole world, she's one of the reasons why these young mages are created then tortured to produce powerful magical slaves, she's one of the reasons why the mages are a danger to non-magicians, she's THE founder of the magician nation that's currently causing harm to others.
that's why she have to take responsibility of her past live, she doesn't wanna do it too, but she's conscious enough to understand, that this is ON her.
if you want a fluffy story, go read a fluffy story? like im enjoying how deep this story decides to take its writing, it's complex in some ways, but really it's easy to understand too
