Im so confused about the people that love the 3rd couple but hate Hyesung’s defense mechanism for all the things Dojin did to him. Like Chowon literally treats Kyungsoo the same for no reason but hate when Hyesung does it even though we’ve read exactly why he is the way he is. Makes zero sense. Also REREAD the other side stories about Hyesung and Dojin, he has definitely showcased he cares for him despite all of the shit he went thru, I think yall forgot bc its been a while with the constant side couples updates instead.
Dude ISTG it’s the brother that put a spell on Hanjoo which isolated him and which is why he’s timid. Everyone cant see Hanjoo’s true face, they think he’s a creep. I am genuinely curious as to why sunbae was the only person that can see his face.

I think im going into tinfoil territory but for sure the black haired guy is not human but supernatural. Its obvious that he can manipulate how he looks like to others and Hanjoo is the only one that can see his true face. Hanjoo is seen as dark and creepy by others except Sunbae which is why they became friends. In the raws, sunbae is the only one who sees him as bright and handsome, literally everyone else feels something off about Hanjoo. Sunbae thinks Hanjoo should be popular bc of his looks but no one else thinks that. I think the black haired guy masked Hanjoo’s image (similar to himself) when he was young to prevent him from being close with others but only sunbae is immune to it. Just a theory.

Honestly, his whole “now you see me, now I’m ugly” thing, reminded me of Noragami- only people with ties to the other side, could see being from the other side, and how certain beings could make themselves be seen but people wouldn’t notice them otherwise. It’s not a perfect fit, but taking it as a base and putting it together with Hanjoo’s weirdness I’m thinking- he got lost as a kid, and was close to death, when one of the beings helped him and they made a “deal” or “wish”, whatever, and now, that black-haired beauty as come to collect. They’re connection is why hanjoo is viewed like that by others. I don’t know, maybe sunbae either has a lot of “Yang” energy or they have some connection, blah blah (I hate him!)
If they wanna go full-MNightShamala then Hanjoo should be one of this other-siders that was able to cross over and doesn’t remember, so he thinks he’s human, and baby boy’s coming to bring him back home.

Are you talking about the hyung? Yeah he originally wasn’t popular or known but after he started showing his true (handsome) face, he becomes popular. I think he did that because he thinks that’s what Hanjoo wants, to be surrounded by people. He thinks Hanjoo is only with Sunbae bc sunbae is popular and surrounded by people but that’s not true at all and now Hanjoo feels uncomfortable with his hyung’s weird behavior.

The plot is a dime a dozen. Mc in Debt, ML rich but boohoo childhood, sex and more sex, blah blah. But GOD DAMN!!! The ML's face card will never decline. Probably the best drawn ML ever, face-wise. The Eyebrows were eyebrowsing, the dimples were dimpling and the art is ARTING.
