New Gen shines pretty well I mean Kawaki is doing loads better than Boruto, he is just a disappointment. Talk about privilege. Plus the opposites thing ( Naruto/ Sasuke ) isn't going to work with Boruto and Kawaki. There needs to be that irreplaceable connection and fire, the whole thing worked for Naruto and Sasuke because they were both near brothers and the fact that their goals were justified, it explored the moral part of the story between them too. It's still unsure if she can get the 100 memories in one year, since like that one chapter when it just pops up and makes her twice as sick. It's more of a test of endurance, if her mortal body can withstand that many shocks and blood loss as she recovers more memories. She isn't sure either if she will last so the characters giving her pity is okay, what she's experiencing isn't by any means easy, it's painful for her too. MC is resilient and positive plus she's trying to protect the people that will be ruined by the crybaby and her stalker.
I think MC is pretty awesome. This story is amazing, it's both funny and heart warming. She doesn't care for romance and plainly told them all that she'd only be friends. She's pretty awesome just FANGIRLING and helping people, all the while enduring that kind of pain
