I think its bcs we are early on the story + it maybe due to the patriarchy of the setting but one strong woman to help her heal might've helped the uneasiness in me.

She knew what will happen. All she wants is to save her family from being killed. It's a sacrifice she's willing to make. But she's putting a line between her and the king, she's not even sure if his destined Female Lead will come in a year. The lesser attachments they have, it'll hurt them less.
I was really depressed in quarantine and I found this in one of the list. It really made me smile and laugh, for it to end this way, was really bittersweet.
Was the romance forced?
Yes. Although it was hinted a whole lot, its just not the whole focus of this story till recently. If you read the title, its focus is the restaurant and the walks of life that they meet. (￣∇￣") I’m also happy it didnt turn to harem (rooting for red dragon x elf healer yuri). Taking the win here since its not the usual degenerate harem types cuz he’s so OP.
Does she look like a child?
Yes, I agree that there are women that look like children and some intentionally looking like one to feel younger. I do wish they give her a transformation to look more adult-ish since we saw her family and no one looks like her. The look just probably stayed the same to keep consistency with the timeline as she is in fact a dragon(Time runs slow, maybe?). We just don’t know what’s the appropriate age & look for an ‘adult’ one or how they classify it.
