OMG NO! i tried reading it when it first came out and i just cant!!! it was so bad!!!! from the dialog, to the plot, it all just made me cringe. the only slightly passable thing about it was the way it was drawn, but other then that, h-e-double hockey sticks no would i ever go back to read it!
Second most stupid for me, the most stupid story I have read until now is one where the MC have a skill that can enslave girl.
If there relationships stops at close siblings I'll be happy but if there's romance between those two I'm not gonna be happy.

I have a feeling that during that time when she disappeared she was probably being taken care of by his parents who probably were neutral and compassionate like him. She must've been hazy but remembers their eyes. And when she recovered she probably left without letting them know or meeting them. Then someone else might have started the fire. Just my hypothesis.

Yeah, I agree, she didn't remember killing them, she felt like she had seen those eyes but she didn't remember harming the civilians, she probably only killed soldiers and knight, etc so the king must be the one who made her looks more horrible as he doesn't want her to become more likeable and popular than the royalty

Well because others aren't, also, I think it's a chinese archetype, not sure why, probably for comedic purposes.
Japanese MCs are generally shy, blushing constantly.
Chinese ones are pervs.
Korean ones sleep around alot, after doing lip service to being virgins.
In most chinese and some Japanese comedy ones, the giy is a perv, the girl ( even if a love interest ) constantly bonks him on the jead or refuses him strongly, and that's considered funny.
Not a big fan of it myself, I don't like it either, but apparently seeing a perv try and fail at being pervy is considered funny.
I guess it's funny. But only if it's done right. But more often than not, the overly pervy guy is cringe. For example, Juraiya from Naruto is a pervy goofball when he's not serious. He made me laugh a few times with his silliness.
Alternatively, I hate Minoru Mineta from My Hero Academia with a burning passion of a million suns. His entire personality is essentially "Pervy coward wants to be a hero for pervy reasons." No comedy + sexual harassment + pervy nature being their entire personality trait = Really annoying character.
