Not sure about the whole Mira/mir situation, but they killed Soohyun’s mother because she refused to forfeit Soohyun’s inheritance. However, accumulated debt and his disability pressured Soohyun into signing off his inheritance in exchange for monetary compensation and Gangyoo’s mansion. There was this panel where Soohyun described this as akin to walking over his mother’s grave, because his mother protected his inheritance, which ultimately got her killed.

Okay, I'll tell you why I think it was written with half-baked knowledge.
They wrote the MC calling the call of prayer as "singing". The MC is from Japan not from the jungle, how can he not know the call of prayer when every country in the world has mosques. Okay, it could've been ignored if that was the only thing.
In the next scene, the prince is shown praying. The sequence of the praying is wrong. He was drawn in a pose that he had his hands held up parallel to his ears, he was sitting down while doing that pose. Which is wrong. He should be standing while doing that. Unless he is seriously ill or disabled he should be standing.
Also, he was crying when he bowed down, which is absolutely wrong. If your crying when you do 'shijda', which is the pose called, your prayer will be nullified.
And the most important of all. He was wearing shoes while praying. You absolutely cannot wear shoes when you are praying. It doesn't matter if you are a sultan or a beggar you have to take off your shoe when you pray!
Also the writing on the wall above the prince's head on the prayer scene. I'm not Arabic but I'm pretty sure that's not Arabic.

It's the little things. But if you are going to write about any religion/culture/tradition the best thing to do is research. Because it's respectful. Don't go writing about something with your half-baked knowledge.

I learned a lot, thank you for that. I didn't really notice since I'm also not familiar with other religions that much. But at the very least now I know. I was very curious and confused at first. But you're definitely right, some research helps sometimes.

The entire point was to show how you’re overly emotional and exaggerating. Calm down. Yes, this isn’t the best written or researched piece of manga out there, but can we accept that letting slip pieces of our culture (i’m muslim and an arab) that are very foreign to these authors is alright, and dare we say acceptable?
