I don't think they are necessarily blaming him for his actions, just that it'd be real hard to get back with someone who, admint unintentionally, abused and mentally scarred you. You can see how she's very much stuck in that mindset even after seeing him reject Angela, i think that's her name, many times and on many different occasions.
