If we think about this story in a historical, realistic, way, it was very common for men to just rape women and overpower them. So I think the ml behavior is quite accurate and his redemption make it more genuine, but maybe the author didn't think this far aha
Anyway, if he doesn't cross that line, I will keep reading !

People need to stop using "historical" as an excuse for rape. Rape is rape, it's not better or worse for having a "historical" setting. I'm not saying not to include rape or SA as a plot device at all, I'm just saying that people should stop "explaining" how people used to rape "commonly" and not think twice about it. It's not the argument you think it is. Either way he finally realized he was in the wrong and promised not to touch her like that non-consensually again, thank gods.

And that why I said "if". That was hypothetic. I was absolutely not saying that since it's was common back then, it's okay to rape. or it was okay at that time. Of course not.
But "historical" is not an excuse, it's facts. Especially during wars. But again, it's quit hard to say a webtoon is "historical" because it's mostly written in a fantastic and romanced tones. And it's quite hard to say if an author wants to describe a realistic story or just want a bit more drama and patriarchy in it. So I get your point for this webtoon in particular. In movies or series, the history research are often more accurate so I think it's important to show rape because it happened a lot. And not showing or suggesting that's happened is bound to romanticize the past.

Game of thrones. And it was famous. And it started good because first season was about... Oh wait sex and sometimes rape.
And everybody was excited and it even had rape and love after those rape moments... But it was a fantastic context and they just took some controversial parts of reality to make it good to sell.
I do not know if it is important or not to show rape, I just know that it exists, sometimes they present it in a way that people "likes it" because they represent a role play that won't be happening in real life... Because reality is harsh... Aaaand here we come with fantasy again. It is no real, we know that it is not. Some people can find it uncomfortable, some will find it tempting... But it doesn't mean they would all LOVE to be raped the way the word means.
So, in conclusion, none of this matters. I like the story, and I love that it keeps going :D
That 's such a good story ! I really like the character development of ml and fl
They 're so fitted for each other lmao
