something I noticed in gender bend stories with the women pretending to be a guy, that I really liked is that authors treat the girl like a character rather than a girl. I always had a weird vibe or some distaste for regular stories with a girl and a guy cause they just made the women centered around being a woman somehow even if it is a little. They would give the woman a passion only to throw it out the window when a man appears. While in gender bend story, they treat that like human beings. The girls have more personality, mostly a funny one, they have a passion, they don’t focus too much on love or whatever and rather on building other relationships, and best of all they have some logic and sense.
