I went to the lastest chapter and, like you all, saw something was weird- Ehhh, Idk if you'd rather wait for a fix, but if you want to read asap, start from the last page and go back page by page to the first. I read it like that . Somehow, the order is from last to first.

Maybe the wolf is a beta, because betas grow in a faster rate than alphas so as you see in the pic, wolf was smaller than the snake but now they look like they are the same age?? Idrk

I took a look at the raws and I (understood nothing but) saw some red string of fate imagery, so maybe @Minik was right. I think i gave the author too much credit thinking it could be something cooler.
