I went to peek at the last few chapters. As MC didn't fully understand the need for safewords, ML took it upon himself to teach him the hard way. Let's say it's not for the weak hearted. Some would probably be traumatized from reading it, others might be intrigued.
For two whole looong chapters, they did a play that I'll slap a mind-break tag on, and it's a detailed process. And since MC is used to pain and welcomes it, it takes more than that to force him to use the safeword. So ML actually made use of MC's trauma of barking sounds caused by the gangrape in the recent chapter of the webtoon.
As someone who skips details in novels often, I found myself unable to stop reading until the play was over and the tension loosened. The experience is best experienced by yourself, so the link is below for those interested. Final warning, not for readers that can't stand a psychological play that utilises MC's trauma.

I think he tried (they were having normal sex for a while), but after seeing ML's stress building up from holding back his sadistic urges, he wanted ML release his urges completely. But ML refused and told MC that he didn't understand what he's getting into. MC said he could handle anything, and ML wanted to teach him a lesson to not treat plays so carelessly (not sure if i rmb this correct), thus this play happened.
Some details might be misremembered, and I didn't continue the novel from where the webtoon left off so...yea
I recommend reading the novel instead. The webtoon started off not bad so I went to check out the novel, and I found out that the webtoon is like a summary of a summary. Some events were left out, and the details that weren't left out were randomly jumbled and used.
With how jumbled the details were, I'm not surprised if some details end up clashing with each other and causing plot holes further down the storyline. Whoever did the storyboard for the webtoon isn't considering the whole picture
Remake is cool and all, but will it continue after catching up with the original chapters?
I think the author starting it from scratch.
