What in the actual hell is going on with the translations??? The way I had to do a double take when dude said the n word. I was NOT expecting that. The amount of racism, transphobia and homophobia thrown around is making me lose all interest and that sucks, bc this manga seemed promising. Also, the use of the r word is disgusting and isn't funny. None of this is funny
Seme in the second story is an asshole. Telling someone they're ugly and to get plastic surgery is a no fucking go for me. He body shamed him and even called him a laughing stock. It's the way the boy wasn't even ugly though. He was gorgeous. He looked like any other character, honestly. His skin was just darker, that's all. What made it worse is how the guy still talked down on him while actively pursuing him. That's just fucked up. I wish the little guy would have left him. He deserves better than him
It's not only that. He used his position at his job to trick the boy into having sex. Basically, told him he'd think about making him a host if he followed his orders, which was something the boy desperately wanted. Luv, that's sexual coercion, which is a form of rape
The third story is hella rapey and predatory as well
What's with all the rape in yaoi?? Why is there always SO much of it?? Do the authors think that's what gay men are like or something?? I mean, they are the ones writing it. I get it's fiction and it's not real, but geez.....I wish I had some type of warning coming into this. None of the tags nor lists from what I saw indicated that there would be sexual assault
Also, the first comment about this being a yaoi with consent is incorrect and extremely misleading. How can the rape in these stories just fly over someone's head like that? It's right in your face. You'd have to purposely overlook it
Kpop brought me here. I've seen all the tweets, but was curious to see it with my own eyes. Wanted to see exactly what people were talking about. Not in a "I don't believe it, so I'm going to check it out in hopes to prove people wrong" type of way, but in a "What is wrong with these men" type of way, but there's more chapters than I thought. I don't have the energy to read all of it, especially when it's not something I'd typically read anyway. Regardless, I know people are allowed to read what they want. I've seen comments under many posts saying to not condem the idols who've watched it/read it, bc what you read isn't always a reflection of who you are as a person and that's definitely a topic that's up for debate for some, but to recommend something like this or to discuss it with fans is kinda......they really need to learn to keep certain things to themselves sometimes
