it's just poorly written revenge porn

i just love how so much was told in such short chapters and the fact that you can feel the insanity of the seme even when he was younger was just great. I am definitely one of the minorities here but i liked reading this, aesthetically and story-wise. It truly does suck for the uke and there's no overarching story that makes the seme redeemable at all but that just give more opportunities in the future if ever this is added but probably not still solid 8/10

Wha such complex and nuanced characters. everything that happened seemed to coincide with what the characters truly felt. the fucking back stories made my heart lurch and squished. its devastating yet so human. truly a one-of-a-kind manhwa, this is what i need people to deliver when they talk about toxic relationships, in depth and layered. a 5/5 read, will be looking forward to side stories and the epilogue.

i have actually read 50 chapters already during the time of its updates to 2022 and turned off my subscription so that i can re-read this. welp since its 2024 now i forgot to bookmark ep 50 and truly did re read this and i was so excited on doing it but then the fucking ending. WDYM that only had to wait for 1 MONTH to witness the finale. cmon, and the finale wasn't even satisfying i feel like there's too much plot we hadn't explored yet, WE DIDN'T EVEN IMPRINT. that would have been such an iconic scene. this truly did edge me and left me dry. still i thoroughly enjoyed the characters and their dynamics and i love this settings, the art is so cute too, i just wished there was more to it. 4/5 stars

i typically dont like alpha/omega bls because i feel as though there's too much imbalance and too conventional of a trope. it's one thing to be toxic and another to be dictate by your biology and feeling helpless because of it. i especially don't like how heat/ruts are such powerful set pieces that i just don't like it BUT i am so glad i read this one before jumping to conclusions because the omega here ACTUALLY has agency and prevents large gaps of power imbalance and it's so cool and definitely believable that dissociative identity disorder is at play here. i thoroughly enjoyed the first 10 initial chapters and i will be waiting for this to grow so i can binge read it. i hope it still has some toxic or like co-dependency mannerisms weaved throughout the part but i hope they don't lean too much to the omegaverse side (crazy for me to say) and keep this pace up in the future.

does the plot going sideways? yes. are problems concluded too fast? do i feel like im reading a telenovela? yes. but did i finish this in 5 hours? yes. did i cry multiple times? yes. is the art gorgeous? yes. and am i going to keep reading? ABSOLUTELY.

I get where everyone is coming from especially considering how toxic shit but its soooo clear how this story would go on. Literally just on the first 10 chapters, you already read how this progresses through the story of the goddess of revenge. LIKE this was expected people! I feel like Wilhelm will live like the dragon in the end. I genuinely feel for the characters and enjoyed reading how batshit this story developed. so yeah, so far a 4/5 read for me.

I think it's only a few of us on here who are grown ups and have read actual literature to know that stories aren't all fairy tales of ML and FL getting together. ppl reading this as a romance are seriously disappointed and should stop reading it honestly. It's a tragedy. BAD stuff happens in tragedies because the ppl in them are deeply flawed. All of them! yes the hot ones too! The experience in these is not to wet your panties but to see how far they go and how and if they can get over themselves and their hangups. Guess what? Shitty ppl are in real life, and reading stories like this (albeit this being an excruciating extreme) can help one have more realistic expectations... or just experience it like a train wreck XD

you are so right. i get that most manhwa readers are only exposed to reading materials from wattpad and other comic artforms and tend to not have much diversity in their reading so i guess i see how they perceive story such as these. i mean their opinions are valid but i think they should have higher media literacy and recognize foreshadows but eh, who am i to judge?

Ikr? main characters (or at least the FL... MLs have been plenty flawed, but that's a whole other convo) not being the perfect image of innocence becomes cause for anguish... oy it's all uphill from there. Yah I get what you mean, most manwha readers have been pretty carefully only selecting feel good stories... likely where they're at at this time in their lives.

for introducing me to this masterpiece. i have no complaints about this story whatsoever. i avoided reading this as if it was the plague but that one video truly did convince me to rea this and im so glad i did. i cried far too may times reading this, laughed, and felt for the characters. i can't wait to see how this progresses.

gigguk mention! sososo glad he recommended this in his vid because it is such a different take on the usual regression fantasy manhwas. it is a welcome difference, of course, just makes it all the more interesting. unlike your usual regression manhwa's the characters actually feel alive.

MADK was one of the first and only mangas that truly encapsulated the feeling of yearning in such a grotesque yet human manner. It was one of those mangas that makes you think of it long past the time you read it. I was one of the people that witness this story be uploaded here since the first chapter and i can say that waiting for the last volume felt like jonathan waiting for makoto. It's that kind of manga that makes you think, really think. The art is stunning as always and the revelations are just so so heartbreaking. I imagine the story to never end, as another demon king die, one is reborn from the love of that demon king. Death is cruel but life is crueler for sure.
