I'm extremely disappointed, Celestine's was my favorite story, and I was even loving her dynamics with her husband in this new chapter, until that stinky asshole started thinking about waiting for his own dad to die so he could "make her his" (╬￣皿￣)凸
I think it's actually the same message from their first story.
A desire to be accepted despite flaws. He still has that desire even though he's not ugly and fat like his father. He's still afraid that it he loses his looks he'll be rejected.
But him becoming bald and or being insecure has nothing to do with him wanting to sleep with his stepmother. For me the story should have ended when she concocted the hair solution.

You do have a point, but to me, that narrative would work only if he was 13 y.o. or younger. I'm not very knowledgeable about oedipus complex, but I don't believe he is in the development stage in which that complex occurs.
However, I do understand what you mean and even agree to certain extent, but I feel that if that's what the author intended, he didn't chose the right medium. As it is, it's too short, and could cause reactions such as the one I had. I held no empathy for him, and maybe if there was some backstory and explanation I would.
But overall, even if he's just idolizing her as the "best woman", it doesn't sound good him antecipating his father's death so that he can "take" her and her baby. I find if off putting.
(That could also be because I loved the first story a lot, and the sudden appearance of a new, unnecessary and completely opposed to the Prime Minister in appearance "love interest" annoyed me)

This ch was kinda iffy... It made me doubt if the demons really retreated or if he somehow died and came back in time once more. It felt like the dream had some type of significance, specially because of that butterfly. Isn't that the symbol of that weird temporal door/portal thingy that made them dream through the past?
