Oh my, things are getting clearer.
Tho I already suspected he would be the magician I'm still curious about why he chose to regress her (tho if thing have gone really bad in a future without her, that would be natural) and also if they do know each other or not, since he himself seemed confused about that for a bit (maybe it's the soul mates/love through time trope?)

Why is that stinky boy eyeing Celestine on V.3Ch04? I want her to be happy with her fluffy baldie in peace (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I can't help but think this was a subtle way the author found to fatshame? Like, make the couple with the prime mininster just for giggles and fun, and then later bring the "skinny, handsome hottie", to "straighten" the story... I'm extremely disappointed, Celestine's was my favorite story, and I was even loving her dynamics with her husband in this new chapter, until that stinky asshole started thinking about waiting for his own dad to die so he could "make her his" (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸

It does though?
That was why we had the comparison between the step-mother and the ex-fiance. Basically, she's the 'best woman' is the point of all this.
It seemed a shallow want to me. Don't think he said he wanted to sleep with her, did he? Only marriage/making her his wasn't it?
I think Tsubasa said something along these lines.'Boys are in love with their mothers until they grow up and find a wife'. Which at the time was ironic because Kurogane and Fai are THE old married couple. But it was to indicate how boys/men are clingy little mamas boys until they mature.
Pretty sure that's what this is about. It didn't seem very sincere that they would hook up in the future, especially considering her tastes.

You do have a point, but to me, that narrative would work only if he was 13 y.o. or younger. I'm not very knowledgeable about oedipus complex, but I don't believe he is in the development stage in which that complex occurs.
However, I do understand what you mean and even agree to certain extent, but I feel that if that's what the author intended, he didn't chose the right medium. As it is, it's too short, and could cause reactions such as the one I had. I held no empathy for him, and maybe if there was some backstory and explanation I would.
But overall, even if he's just idolizing her as the "best woman", it doesn't sound good him antecipating his father's death so that he can "take" her and her baby. I find if off putting.
(That could also be because I loved the first story a lot, and the sudden appearance of a new, unnecessary and completely opposed to the Prime Minister in appearance "love interest" annoyed me)

Hm... I bet that lady's brother, the recluse magician, is the one who sent her back to the past, and I also think he's the ML... But the question is... why? It doesn't seem they've met in her previous life, so it can't be love...
Her grandfather is really suspicious too, I have a feeling he somehow messed the duke's first marriage, so that his daughter could become the new duchess.
Anyways, i'm really confused and excited, i wanna know what's next ╥﹏╥
I'm just glad discovered it now, cause if i had started when it had few chapters, i would probably drop it because of that fake bitch sister, it was so damn frustrating ヽ(`Д´)ノ

I think that’s a possibility too butttt i also think ur was her dad because in the beginning right before she came back you see her dad doing heavy magic and he looked tired soooo maybe he later found out the truth about the fake sister so he wanted to start all over with his real daughter before she died in the past so blah blah so on but who knows I’m excited too >o<
This ch was kinda iffy... It made me doubt if the demons really retreated or if he somehow died and came back in time once more. It felt like the dream had some type of significance, specially because of that butterfly. Isn't that the symbol of that weird temporal door/portal thingy that made them dream through the past?
Anyways, I'm really confused.
