Im probably wrong, but my personal theory since like ch 60 smth is el chose to be human after completing his duties as a spirit king, and was reincarnated in a time he didnt exist into the past for some reason im not sure yet and ofc had to have any memories wiped of him bc that would effect everything that happened upto this point like his relationdhip with trowel and elrien etc, and as the story progresses the more i think im right with how human el was so deep into spirit king nature butgtttttt i have no clue
I don't think they would do that cuz that would put a lot on trouble for them is it? putting the order in chaos or whatever and seems like that el have a purpose for being there? remember Sibelius asked el there something bout his purpose or whatever but he didn't reveal it it's probably el travelling to the past to stop the demon king or whatever
