I thought you read it? Hahahaha i would say that the genre is drama and deals with some heavy subjects such as rape, suicide attempt and cheating. It was very tradgic and the ending reminded me of life senjou no bokura (I'm pretty sure you've already read it, but if you didn't, I really recommend it, that one is a master piece)
