Suu is my favorite MC. He's complex, he's got his own motives, he makes bad and selfish decisions, yet we can understand and sympathize with why he does what he does. I think this author does a really good job of writing morally gray characters.

Yeah this isn't the most complex story, but it's a breath of fresh air in a market that's oversaturated with BL and GL stories that (while they are entertaining) often portray a very unrealistic view of the lgbt community through a "straight" lens.

Cats are usually so sweet and loving but people think they don't care about their owners because they don't display affection in the obvious way that dogs do... This story really did cats dirty by likening them to a bitch like yahwi who doesn't give a shit about anyone besides himself and does things only for self-gratification. I hope this mf Yahwi is born as a centipede in his next life because he really doesn't deserve to be considered a cat in any life.

This isn’t about ships because I knew Mikayuu never had a chance from the beginning but have you guys noticed how the author makes all the female characters’ personalities revolve around the guys the like? It seems so fucking sexist, like does he think women exist only to fall in love or something? Also he uses his female characters to voice his own misogynistic thoughts like “because we’re girls we fall in love” (and some other stuff but I forgot it)

When I first started the story I thought Sahara would be the ML but then he stayed as a child for the majority of what we have so far so now it feels weird to see him and Suu like this because in my mind he's still a child. Tbh even though his physical form is an adult he's still mentally like a child in many aspects and that's lowkey uncomfortable? I wish the author made him into an adult a little earlier in the story or gave us more time with him as an adult before doing a scene like this.
I normally really hate s3x scenes but I can at least appreciate how unlike in most stories, both parties here seemed to be into it in this one. It usually feels like the bottom is being forced (even if it's consensual) and a lot of the time authors do that gross "no means yes" type of thing where they keep saying things like "no" and "stop" when they're actually enjoying it. Even though I always scroll quickly to skip erotic scenes, when I notice things like that it really bothers me and I can't see the relationship the same after that. I'm glad that this story wasn't like that (even though there was that forced bit from when they were in hs)

I don't think this deserves a happy ending so imagine if he saw mermaid Eunwoo as a hallucination and as he ran into the sea the halluciantion disappeared. Despite this, Taeho is in a frenzy and keeps swimming farther and farther out in search of Eunwoo to no avail and ends up drowning himself
I feel so bad for Sahara, I really don't know if I can see there ever being a happy ending for him.
