I honeslty haven’t really seen racist or ignorant people draw grey skin, but I have seen them lighten it despite randomly choosing the brown skin (it’s like a trend).

Idk if you’re new in fiction world but this story is FANTASY, it’s not slice of life for you to get so worked up for. It’s not base on real people, events, nor a real timeline. I would understand the hatred if it’s slice of life, but this is fantasy fgs.
