As much as I should pity Jeanette for her situation and current position, I don't feel any remorse for her. Maybe it's because the main character has gone through a lot in her past life, and is trying to have a good relationship with the father. However, I feel as though Jeanette is sucking up to the father, think that she can become someone who matters to the father or be apart of the family. I don't know what happened to him, but I'm going to guess it had something to do with Jeanette and that black haired man. A little advice if I confronted Jeanette, stop being stupid and start being aware of what you're doing. The facts are literally right in front of you. The father lost his memory when Jeanette was present, and now something has happened to him and Jeanette was present. If the main character had something to do with it, boy the father would have been dead a long time ago.
Tbh I actually pity Ilyan, like I can personally understand what he's been gping thru and from my point of view, I think Kyles is in love with Ilyan??
