Trigger Warning for Chapter 12 onwards (currently to available chapter 16): Mentions of Sexual Assault and Predatory intent.
It's been really difficult for me to read, despite being interested with the story and characters. I thought this might help prepare others because i certainly didn't expect that plot point to occur.
SPOILER:
In chapter 12 MC loosens the corset of a palace aide when she faints from overwork and dysmenorrhea. MC gets accused of sexual assault, because upon waking, the aide finds herself being unlaced by a man (our mc dressed as one). MC gets dragged into the dungeons, gets hit, and punished for his actions. The next chapters deals with a sort of court hearing case amongst the aide, mc and the queen. Queen listens to both sides, Aide clarifies that she wasn't sexually or emotionally harmed. MC still gets punished for even trying to touch a woman even if it is to help, because there is no way to prove their actual intent. MC has to work with the queen's conditions and having to live with the image of being a sexual predator.
basically that's the gist of it. Not sure if it's all completely accurate, might have missed a few things but yeah. personally, I understand why the characters did what they did in reaction to the situations at hand, but it was still difficult to read.
