Villains









Alicia is the original villain. She’s the reason why Ines lived again to correct her fate. She made Ines die an unfated death originally. She died when Ines’s mother butchered her pregnant stomach with a knife at a banquet. Ines’s father then waged territorial war against her family and wiped them out.

Crown prince Oscar is definitely the villain in the timeline he married Ines. He married her for revenge. He committed suicide after Luciano was mercilessly cutting off one of his limb per day.

The timeline when Ines ran away is more grey.

In this current timeline, Alicia is the most prominent villain. She will be punished by the empress. She’s kept alive and tortured every day. I guess it’s fitting that she ends up as the ultimate villain since she’s the one who started Ines’s misery.

I left out Carcel because it would be spoiling even more. Carcel is actually costar with Ines as leads of the story but if I add him it will be spoiling much more.

It looks like Oscar the shitty crown prince is the main villain. And this is their fourth lifetime.
1st timeline was carcel and ines together as a couple and they were happy I think. And ines doesn't remember this was her every first timeline and that she was married to carcel

2nd timeline was when ines deviated from her true love who was carcel and married the crown prince instead. It ended horribly when she ended up killing herself with a rifle after suffering so much abuse physically, mentally and psychologically. This was the timeline ines believed was her first one which was untrue

3rd timeline was when she tried to escape marrying the crown prince by eloping with emiliano who was a poor painter. They escaped and had a child but was being hunted down by the royal family. Luciano who was ines brother had to do the unthinkable and kill emiliano himself so that ines and their family won't be branded as traitors to the crown. This made ines hate him immensely and she killed herself and her baby when she found out that she will still be given to the crown prince after everything and she didn't want her baby to be sold as a slave by the royal family

The 4th timeline which is the present timeline is when she finally made the right choice and decided to marry carcel to escape the crown prince's persistent pursuit. Oscar the crown prince is the only one currently in the manhwa to possess all his memories from the first timeline till now. He has been obsessed with possessing ines because he has been jealous of her wonderful relationship and life she had with carcel since their first timeline. And the reason why ines keeps having to relive her life over and over again is because she kept making the wrong decisions and getting with the crown prince and emiliano when true love and destiny is carcel.

P.s : ines never loved emiliano. She just used him at that moment to get away from the crown prince thinking he will let her go if she runs away with someone else. She mostly feels guilty toward him now cause she feels like he would have lived a good life in her third lifetime if she never got with him

When Ines’s father waged war against Alicia’s family and wiped them out in the original timeline, it’s Carcel’s father who laid the political groundwork for it to provide justification for Ines’s father to act justifiably. Why? Cárcel’s father did it to avenge his grandchildren that Alicia killed through poison. Carcel’s soldiers also participated in the war to wipe out Alicia’s family. He did it to avenge his son and daughter who were poisoned to death by Alicia’s schemes.

Ines did love Emiliano. She didn’t love him at the beginning but felt something immature per the author. But when she was on the road alone with him as a fugitive, author said that’s when she fell for him especially since he treated her different to Oscar. It’s when he was shot dead in front of her, author said love ended and became guilt. Why guilt? Because she’s the one who deliberately plotted to bring her stranger into her life to escape Oscar.

The last comment made me laugh. Anyway, I do agree that Carcel is Ines’s true love.

Oh she did?? Poor emiliano. I honestly approve of both their plan to not see each other face to face in this timeline. He deserves to live a good life away from the nobles and their hectic life decisions

Anyway, yes, Emiliano will meet his own fate no doubt. Ines is the one who literally interfered with his fate. As this timeline proves and the first and second timelines prove, he was never meant to be dragged into Ines’s life. Ines only plotted to drag him in because of Oscar whom Ines was never meant to marry in the first place. So their paths were never meant to cross without Oscar being involved. Both fates were bad because they were ill-fared from the beginning.

Everyone has their fate whether good or bad. It’s just like Ines and Carcel are born to the same parents every timeline because their parents share the same fate. Oscar’s fate is actually Alicia but those two just don’t know how to be content and stop messing with other people’s lives.

No, he’s main protagonist so he won’t be a villain. Ines and her father both call him a pushover. Well, he isn’t on the battlefield though.

Wait, that all happened in the first timeline? Ines’s mother killed alicia to take vengeance as to what she did to ines right? how would they later know that alicia was the cause of it? god it hurts so much

How would they know that Alicia was the cause of it? You mean in the first timeline? If so, Alicia visited Ines when Ines was near death’s door and gloatingly confessed she had poisoned her and took the lives of Ines and her children. In this current timeline, Ines gets the memory of that visit from the original timeline. In the epilogue, Carcel gets the full memory of the original timeline.
