I've been reading it on Mangatoon so far and the ML has actually turned into a better person because of the FL.
That aside, his actions up to now havent been the best. Honestly he was such a tyrant but it's been better now. Hes actually considering her feeling and hes showing how he genuinely loves her.
Some things happen to her and I won't get into much detail to not spoil the plot but hes been with her throughout that and I'm just glad to say it's getting more better. AND THERES NO MORE RAPE. The rape was honestly the worst thing throughout this whole story. And her bitchy ass family(●￣(ｴ)￣●)
