I saw a few chapters a ahead and i think they know each other since they were kids but the professor forgot abt candy because of an accident. All he remembers is that he got into an accident and while loosing consciousness he saw a child crying infront on him while his hands were bleeding (which is candy) then when he recovers he got this scar on his leg which he got from the accident and then he met the blond professor (they are still kids i think middle schooler) which he mistaken as candy coz he saw he had the same scar on his hand which reminds him of the child in the accident so he thinks he is the kid. Since then they became friends.

Irresponsible child behaviors which are only meant to add some drama to the story (because it was kinda unnecessary) is clearly annoying. You cannot say that she wasn't irresponsible, because she definitely was. Some of you will forgive her bc she's just a child, other people will be pissed off, that's it. It's not that deep. Assuming someone's personality by telling they're horrible, awful, or they have no empathy, based on the only fact that they hate or don't feel pity for one fictional character is kinda fucked up.
