Despite how frustrating the MC is, her actions and thoughts are so realistic when it comes to someone having a mental illness. She’s clearly suffering from depression and incredibly low self esteem. And I feel sad the way everyone tip toes around her and trying their best to help.
It reminds me of myself in some way. How I felt so down and this self pity is all encompassing that you don’t see what’s in front of you.
Wait I actually love this. I usually feel iffy about characters like the ML but the more I read, the more I love him and his antics. The FL lived a terrible life and it’s a shame her circumstances led her here.
I like the quiet moments where we see them actually together and developing something of a bond.
And his aid being against her but slowly understanding her usefulness. I hope things don’t go too badly and have more bonding moments, see them develop the land she wishes for.

The story is alright. It feels a bit boring tho. I like the ML I feel like he’s interesting but the storyline is very…bland.
I absolutely loved this. It was not totally generic and the FL is great. I loved seeing her so happy with her new life and out of the confines of her previous one.
I loved seeing her basically use her experiences to manipulate the system. In some way but not a bad way.
The characters were great. I loved that they were not all good or bad just a mix of both (except chunchun she’s all good).
The ML (crown prince) was unexpectedly adorable. I like that he’s basically obsessed with her and wants to see her all the time. Makes me wonder what he’ll do next
I feel so bad for the dad because he has to suffer through knowing he was SA'd and then have the product of that completely smash into his life and family. His own son barely cares and his young daughter trying to fix the problems. smh lawd pls do something about that bitch
He really let himself be in a relationship for SIX years with someone he doesn’t love because he felt “obligated” wasting both of their time when she could’ve found someone who actually wants to be with her!!
Watch he’s gonna suddenly want to be with her or whatever.
I hope not….
He just said he wants to be friends… also some people go their whole lives without their feelings being that intense for someone. While he’s not IN love with her, he still does love her and probably believed it was good enough. To date. Like a natural next step to their relationship.
But it’s still not right to mislead someone like that. They were literally dating for years and he said he loved her, why would she assume he meant platonic love lol? He was gonna let her live her whole life never truly knowing how he felt.
Well, who says it was fully platonic? He liked her enough to kiss her and maybe even sleep with her. He might have felt that was enough to build a life with her. You don’t ask people if they can measure the love they have for you. They just love you for r they don’t. For him, that love was enough to tie himself to her for the rest of their lives.
