i still dont like her family
Yo-
Its kinda still her fault tho
The original owner had a nasty personality and was like a spoiled brat
Let's not also forget she threw a freaking cup (?) On her brother and told him he was useless and was abandoned
Yes, she was young .-. But still- a childhood trauma could be permanent good thing he wasn't bothered by it as much anymore
I'll repeat as many times I need...
Hm... how can I say this... I agree and disagree... you see it's easy to condemn them for neglecting her an all else but... The OG had some serious problems. And by that flashback of the brother she also didn't seem any nice. So... I'll be honest with you about people with serious issues like the OG.
First. If they don't actively seek help it's hard to know they are needing it. Even more so if they have an history of bad behavior including tantrums and being antisocial. With someone abusing them and manipulating them like her case things get even worse.
Second. People really don't know how fricking hard is to love someone who's that deep in psychological problems. The instability of their emotional state is no joke. It's easy to tell people they must help, support and be there for them when you don't know how hard is to be beside them through it all.
Third. Being family is not enough of a reason to demand unconditional love. Yes they didn't like the OG. And she gave them the reasons for that. Even before the depression and abuse she had a bad personality and was aggressive. But even so her family raised her with the best and if she had shown them the abuse without being hysterical even once they'd be on her side. Honestly they loved her way more than the MC original father.
The Og needed help. Medical help. That is true. But it's also true she was a toxic person and needing help is no excuse for it. Family love wouldn't heal the OG. Her problems didn't stem from it, the MCs trauma did so to her it is helpful. At first I really disliked the family but as they talk and show bits and pieces of the OG I understood. It's not that her family hated or didn't love her. They gave up on her, and I'll tell you, that's a hard thing to do...
She was a child neglected since birth and after abused + neglected.
If a child have a nasty and anger driven personality the responsable are ALWAYS the caretaker.
they didn't show her love or any human respect and decency. The grandpa and the brothers got it coming when they leaved her alone and then leaved her to be abused.
You lot are very easily going into the victim blaming territory
This is literally victim blaming. No matter what her temperament was as a kid, no child should have to prove to their own family or to others that they don’t deserve to be abused. A child should not be treated like that point blank period.
The only ‘bad’ thing about OGs personality was that she was just depressed at an extremely young age bc of the abuse. Plus that one comment she made to her negligent, abusive brothers we see in a flashback.
And yes it is hard to care for someone who is mentally unstable, but as her caretakers they should have at least tried. They shouldn’t have just given up on her without even trying to understand her first. She wasn’t even given a chance bc all she was surrounded by was hate and apathy since very early on in her life.
Plus you make it sound as if their only option was to give up on her. As if the family had painstakingly endured her tantrums and bad personality when in reality, all they did was ignore her until she lashed out and then act shocked and scandalised that she had done so. They didn’t even try.
So yes, I do hope mc doesn’t just forget and forgive OGs pain bc her family definitely did not show her any love when she was alive.
where black swans boss has him hostage and alex comes in to saves him (?)
