Sword Arc DONE! Magic Arc BEGINS!
Thank you for the amazing arc!!
I hope Raina, the MC childhood friend, can continue to be with him in the next arc and Lilia, the daughter of the guild master, be as far away as possible LOL
But seriously I really enjoyed this arc and can't wait to see the MC continue to hone his skills and get stronger ヽ(*≧ω≦)ノ
Yeah, no, seriously, 2 chapters in, and I'm getting the ick. I'll continue reading, but I'm so frustrated for the mc ( TT ◇ TT )
Like they called him to be chef mourner bc he is her last fam member, okay.
He told the staff that he couldn't pay for an expense funeral (plus his mom abandoned him so it's not like he's obligation to pay for one, morally and financially he could just do a simple funeral for her as respect for his mother for bringing him to life and be chef mourner, but legally he doesnt even have to be there if its to painful for him and the government would do the simple cremation and memorial service instead :/), and they said that the funeral payment was already deposited so he doesn't have to worry, okay.
... But why the hell does the balance afterward go over the deposit by 8.17 million won in the 2nd chapter, and he has to pay for it >:(
Like that's so frustrating, since he already told the staff that he wouldn't be able to afford the vip funeral, they should have made sure that the funeral doesn't go over budget! Plus, why is he the one that has to pay when it's supposed to be the person that signed with the funeral that pays???
Yes, USUALLY the chef mourner is the one that signed for the funeral, but in chapter 1, it sounded like someone else signed with the funeral home, planned it out with the funeral home, and even paid the deposit, so they should have been the one that receive the bill! Idk how he ended up getting it?? Legally, he doesn't have to bc theres no contract, so they can't sue him or force him to pay, and he could just leave... but our mc doesn't know that and is now about to go homeless bc of debt, so he's forced to inherent his moms school... wow, great >.>
I'm glad he's fine with it since the pay is good (way better than paying the debt with his multiple part time jobs), but seriously the whole situation suck ass and sounds like a scam.
And, seriously, I can't bring myself to like his mother so far since we know that she abandoned him when he was 8 so there was only him and his sick grandmother taking care of each other, so he had to uptake multiple part time jobs to help their fam of 2 keep afloat since he was young. Loosing so much of his childhood. While she had a hella high paying job...
Also, she never visited them in 20 years... she never cared for her son in those 20 years, when we clearly can see from the kids' reactions that she can be a loving adult (it just that he was never the kid to receive it...), and that leaves such a sad bitter taste in my mouth (;_;)/~~~
She was never there for her son emotional, physically, nor financially (..)
I was so excited to read a cute fantasy raising children kinda of story, but got this instead :/
I just hope it gets better...
But seriously, what a way to start a story...
