while i understand what you are saying the thing is, unfortunately , fear is something not logical and can make you act completely different than what you really want . Or the opposite .

In Ewon's case he is so traumatised by his mother abandoment that inside he thinks that the boss will do the same. So he hasnt let himself trully be immersed in the relationship like the boss is. That is why this situation had to happen so he can let go of all the deep rooted doubts and trully believe that the boss will allways be there for him.

Yes I do understand that his wounds were still deep bcoz of what his mother did and maybe that's why he had problem expressing his emotions but like he cannot expect mookyul to compromise everytime?(And no I'm not talking about his sister situation here) I feel like while we saw mookyul's feeling developing towards Ewon, we didn't get the same development for Ewon. In the last chp he said to his sis that "mookyul has done so much for him that he cannot leave him" which for me felt like he is only with mookyul bcoz of guilt?( like mookyul did so much for him but ewon never got chance to return the favour) hence I'm still confuse if Ewon's feeling for mookyul should be consider as love?

I think Ewon loves Mookyul, but not necessarily in the same sense Mookyul loves him, but more like he finds Mookyul attractive and knows that Mookyul loves him wholeheartedly so he doesn't have to worry about ever being let go (like his mom or his ex did). However, he's always trying to push the limits on Mookyul. When Mookyul finally told Ewon to be with his family, as if he's given up on him, Ewon finally panicked because his security is no longer there, so he now tries to get back with Mookyul.

To Mookyul, Ewon is his everything, but to Ewon, Mookyul is the person he wants to spend the rest of his life with. They love each other, but their love is different.

Hm I agree with your first paragraph. Mookyul was his safety blanket. Even in that early chap where they couldn't have sex bcoz of Ewon's job, he didn't thought about mookyul until mookyul himself started avoiding him(obv that was his plan)and we got to see Ewon panic bcoz he thought maybe mookyul lost interest in him. I do think Ewon liked mookyul but i just felt like it would have been better if we had got more of Ewon's feeling development for Mookyul considering he wasn't the expressive one in their relationship.I would have loved to know when he started taking his feelings for mookyul seriously.

Daaaamnnn, and here i am having a hard time thinking jaeha's thought process. No judgement, but jaeha first scar was with the professor right? So how is that a big deal? Is jeaha's melancholic personalitu added fuel to the fire?

Rather than professor, the person who outed him,his father not accepting his son was gay and him being divorce made his personality like that. Throughout the story he has hard time communicating and is always trying to run away from the problem which I do the same. But the thing here is that he is afraid he will hurt Eunho and to avoid that rather than having a proper conversation with him, he chooses to break up which if you don't understand jaeha's pov you will think he is annoying and selfish character. But if you think from jaeha's pov, you will understand that boy had a trouble in communicating bcoz whenever he tried to open up he was shun out (ex: when he tells the professor he loves him but professor tells him he was just fooling around or when he come out to his father but his father get angry) and then he started wearing a mask and stops opening up( which was another reason his marriage failed along with him being gay). But when he meets Eunho, his mask always slips up(u can see through out the story eunho was always there whenever jaeha had a hard time). Eunho on the other hand is patient instead of running away, faces the problem, will always wait for jaeha at the end.Jaeha knows that and he always tries to run away but when Eunho goes mia aka military that's when jaeha realized he fucked up alot this time and then he starts to wait for Eunho (bcoz he know boy is head over heels for him and will come to at least check up on him) so he doesn't change the studio name, and wears the ring. And when finally Eunho comes back to him, jaeha tries to become more open towards him.
In short if you have trouble in communicating or opening up, you need a partner will hell lot of patience.
