Even if she's 18 don't you think there's a bit of a creepy undertone of deliberately drawing her to look prepubescent. I get it's meant to be for comedy but she isn't just drawn youthful, she's drawn to look about 9. I think it might have worked better if the guy was only meant to be 15 or something but their adults. It just seems like a weird choice for the mangaka.

You know, if you guys read the raws, there is a section where she's older and with longer hair.... ( ̄∇ ̄'')

I just want to preface this saying I only read a couple of chapters of this a while ago. Isn't the age difference a bit of a stretch. I can't remember what it was exactly but she looks very young. Is it like Hana to Akuma where the romance isn't that blatant? I'm just curious because this manga seems to be so popular now and I would like to try it again but I know from my personal taste that age difference would freak me out.
If he only lost his hearing a year ago he should still be able to speak. It's only when children are born or go deaf at a very young age who can't 'properly' speak.
Exactly what I was thinking. He can still speak back if he really wants to be heard or understood, weird that he didn't
well it might be because he can't hear that he doesn't want to speak because he can't hear how loud he is speaking and so he might fear that he will annoy others (● ̄(エ) ̄●)
Yes. There are different ways to think about that... Would've been nice to have a short explanation to that (just a panel would've been enough)
